Great location and lovely decor, but needs better communication and a deep clean

The space itself is beautifully decorated and the location was absolutely perfect for our trip. Unfortunately, we ran into some trouble at check-in—the directions provided didn’t work, and when we contacted the host, they mentioned they hadn’t realized there was a booking. It all got sorted fairly quickly, but it was a stressful start.Once inside, we appreciated the cozy vibe, but the suite could use a proper deep clean—especially in the bathroom corners and on some of the surfaces that hadn’t been wiped down. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and booking coordination, this place could be a real gem!

This was an isolated incident that occurred right after a long-term two-month stay, and unfortunately, the deep cleaning schedule and booking notification didn’t sync as they should have. We’ve since tightened our cleaning coordination and calendar alerts to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and we truly appreciate you bringing those details to our attention — the bathroom and all surfaces have now been thoroughly addressed.
