Step into more than 3,800 square feet of timeless charm at this beautifully preserved historic home, ideally designed for gatherings of family, friends, or colleagues. Perfectly located between Portland’s vibrant Arts District and the iconic Old Port, this grand vacation rental offers walkable access to the city's best restaurants, shops, and waterfront experiences.

Spacious & Flexible for Groups

With six spacious king bedrooms and 3.5 well-appointed bathrooms, the main home comfortably hosts large groups. Multiple living and dining areas offer ample room to relax and reconnect.

Optional Third Floor Retreat

For even more space, guests may opt to include the stunning third floor—a warm and rustic hideaway featuring original exposed beams, four additional bedrooms, and elevated views of Portland Harbor. This level also includes a luxurious full bath with walk-in shower, plus a large media room with an 85-inch smart TV—perfect for movie nights or winding down after a day in the city.  Please inquire for third-floor availability and pricing.

A Kitchen Made to Gather

The gourmet kitchen is a cook’s dream, complete with soapstone countertops, high-end appliances, and a custom gathering table for eight. Whether you’re preparing a family-style brunch or hosting a private chef dinner, this space is designed to bring people together.

Outdoor Living & Seasonal Entertaining

Step outside to a private backyard oasis with a stone patio, outdoor seating, and a gas grill—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. At the rear of the property, a restored antique carriage house offers a unique space for private dining and intimate group events. **Please note the carriage house is available from April - December and does have an additional fee for use

Use of the home and carriage house is limited to registered overnight guests, but we do welcome approved small gatherings or special events with advance notice. Please inquire about event rates and services.

The home is located between the Arts District and the Old Port district. A unique in-town location with a private feel. Walk to restaurants, shopping, and waterfront activities.

Getting Around:
Everything is within walking distance but Uber is always available.

Other Things to Note:
Fireplaces are not functional and are for decorative use only. The Carriage House does have an additional fee for use and is available from April -December. Use of the property is limited to registered overnight guests only. Additional guests for special events must be approved in advance.

Wedding base

Our son got married in Portland and our large family came to celebrate and participate. The location of this property is superb. It’s funky in the best way. The house was built in 1800! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
