The Space
This professionally decorated waterfront cabin comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests and features an easy, open layout perfect for families and larger groups. The main level includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, family room with an oversized sofa, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom with laundry facilities. Laundry detergent is provided for your convenience.
The family room opens directly onto a screened in porch with beautiful waterfront views, creating the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or unwind after a full day on the lake.
Upstairs you will find three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and partial lake views.
Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed in the master bedroom, a full bed in the second bedroom, a queen bed in the third bedroom, a king bed with futon in the fourth bedroom, and a bunk bed with a full mattress on bottom and twin on top in the fifth bedroom. The oversized sofa can also be used for additional sleeping space.
There are three indoor dining areas including a dining table seating six, a kitchen bar seating three, and a screened porch table seating four. Outside, a picnic table allows for relaxed outdoor meals by the lake.
Outdoor Living and Recreation
The cabin sits just minutes from some of the best outdoor recreation in Mississippi. Guests enjoy boating, tubing, water skiing, swimming, fishing, hiking trails, and sandy lake beaches throughout the Sardis Lake area.
The Sardis Lake Marina and public boat ramp are only a few minutes away, making it easy to bring your boat and spend the day on the water where conditions are often smooth and ideal for recreation.
John W. Kyle State Park nearby offers walking trails, playgrounds, volleyball courts, and scenic picnic areas. Many guests also enjoy fishing at the spillway located about three minutes from the cabin.
Please note that fishing from the dock at the cabin is currently not permitted due to damage caused by high water. Repairs are pending approval from the Corps of Engineers, and the area is safely blocked by a fence and gate.
Prime Location Near Oxford and Memphis
While the cabin feels peaceful and secluded, it is conveniently located near shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Batesville, Mississippi is just eight miles away and offers grocery stores, antique shops, and local favorites like Stubbs Department Store. Historic Oxford Square, home of the University of Mississippi and the Ole Miss Rebels, is approximately twenty to twenty five minutes away and features boutique shopping, bookstores, and award winning restaurants. Game day weekends bring legendary tailgating and an unforgettable college town atmosphere.
Additional nearby attractions include Safari Wild African Animal Park in Como, Tanger Outlets in Southaven, Mallard Point Golf Course, Tunica casinos, and Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis. Memphis International Airport and the Memphis Amtrak Station are both within about forty five minutes.
