Keyless entry lets you arrive on your schedule. You'll receive your unique access code and detailed instructions on how to use the lock 24 hours before check-in. And just in case—there’s an emergency backup key on-site if the internet ever goes down.

The upper unit living area blends comfort with thoughtful entertainment. A smart TV, gas fireplace, and record player with a collection of mid-century and 80s/90s LPs create a warm atmosphere for quiet nights in. Shelves hold books, DVDs, and board games, while the mid century modern décor and natural wood accents fill the space with a calm, inviting feel.

Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, cooking basics, and plenty of dishware. A dining table for six sits nearby, perfect for family meals or sharing takeout from Seattle’s local eateries. A coffee maker, toaster, blender, rice maker, and wine glasses are available for whatever you’re preparing.

Sleeping arrangements
The Garden Room offers a king size memory foam hybrid mattress, dual nightstands, and a streaming TV. Amenities include robes, a luggage stand, makeup mirror, hairdryer, and a full-length mirror. The Zen Den holds a queen bed with blackout curtains and complimentary earplugs, plus robes, a full-length mirror, and a Smart TV with DVD player and curated films. In the family room, a queen sofa sleeper with fresh linens accommodates two.

Bathroom
A single shared bathroom features a shower/tub combo, bright vanity, and ample storage. Toiletries, plush towels, and shower essentials are provided.

Outdoor living
Step into a shared backyard framed by greenery, with a fire pit, festive lighting, and seating for six. A covered private BBQ area with a gas grill opens onto a spacious deck overlooking the forest. The fully fenced yard welcomes pets and provides space for morning yoga. Bikes, beach essentials, and yoga mats are available to use.

Air conditioning, portable fans, heating, and an indoor fireplace keep you comfortable in every season. Each bedroom includes robes, luggage racks, mirrors, hangers, and hairdryers. A washer and dryer with supplies, dedicated workspace, and super-fast Wi-Fi make longer stays easy.

Family-friendly features
Children are well provided for with a crib, pack ’n play, booster chairs, baby bath, high chair, safety gates, and outlet covers. Books, toys, age-appropriate movies, umbrella strollers, and bicycles with a two-child trailer and bike seat are also included.

Safety and access
The home has smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and exterior security camera at the front door. Self check-in with a smart lock makes arrival simple. Parking is free both on-site and on the street, and the home’s single-level layout has no stairs.

You’re just 7 miles from downtown Seattle and perfectly positioned near the University of Washington, top healthcare facilities, and the city’s top sporting venues. Getting around is easy! You're only a mile from the Northgate Light Rail station and a 5-minute walk to the Rapid Ride bus line. Hop on the Link Light Rail for a quick, affordable ride to UW, downtown, Lumen Field, T-Mobile Park, or Sea-Tac Airport. It’s just $3.50 and trains run every 8 minutes, making your commute or game day a breeze.

Before booking, please review the house rules to ensure this home meets your needs. This is the upper unit of a two unit fully renovated home with two bedrooms and a new queen sleeper sofa. Our peaceful home is part of a separated duplex, offering a private and comfortable space for you to enjoy and relax. Each unit features its own entrance, as well as separate BBQ and outdoor living areas, ensuring you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. You’ll have all the privacy you need, while also enjoying the tranquil ambiance of the neighborhood, yard and creek. We have a shared yard for recreation & relaxation, dogs, and children. Additional pet fees and policies apply and proof of vaccination/flea & tick protection will be required prior to stay.

Thornton Creek is wheelchair accessible and we have provided a wheelchair ramp, shower chair/toilet riser/grab bar for any disabled visitors with advanced notice.

We are dedicated to offering a comfortable and natural environment for all our visitors. Please note that some of our bedding contains down feathers, and our decor' includes natural elements. Because we are a natural environment, animals and insects can we seen on occasion. We have professional, environmentally friendly, pest control services monthly.

We support eco-friendly, sustainable, and environmentally-considerate purchases and practices wherever possible. We forgo single-use items such as Keurig coffee pods, use Brita pitchers for filtered water, and recycle extensively.

Exterior cameras are at the front door of each unit and another overlooking the parking area.. There are NO inside cameras. However, we do monitor for sound decibel levels, smoke, and number of people present.
