located in a nice and quiet area of Crucita. Free Cable TV with 3 days min rental. Excellent WiFi internet.
Enjoy the swimming pool, BBQ grill, hammocks, coconut trees, outdoor gazebo for dinning and lounging and lots of open space.
Breakfast and lunch are available for small price.
Transportation available for long or short trips if needed. Bus service available to nearby cities. Bus runs every 10-15 minutes and stops at front gate.
We are located just 10 minutes from downtown Crucita, 45 minutes from Manta city, and 30 minutes from Portoviejo. There are 2 restaurants within 2 blocks and several weekend restaurants on the beach.The beach is virtually private, ideal for couples and families seeking a quiet and relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. This is one of the few places where you can enjoy peaceful surroundings, a clean, comfortable beach house with ocean view, an almost private beach, a nice swimming pool, nearby restaurants, easy access to the city and all at a very reasonable price.

Great getaway

Vistamar was a nice place to relax and do nothing at all but read relax and occasionally go into town to pick up groceries. The villa was equipped with just about everything I need for my month stay except groceries. This was a great place at a reasonable price.

Great place to just relax. The local transport is cheap and reliable but the roads are in bad repair so a trip to town on the the bus for supplies is an all day affair. Best to get the hosts to drive you in the car. The rooms are air conditioned and also the showers are hot and cold running water rare in Ecuador in this price range No electric shower here. The Hosts are amazingly accommodating and will do their upmost to fulfill your requests.

Beautiful beach but remote

Accommodations were OK. The bed was not big enough for two people but there was a set of bunk beds and I slept there while my husband slept in the bed. The beach was very close and very beautiful. The location was very quiet with no close restaurants other than beach tiendas.

We came to Ecuador to investigate if we would want to retire here. We had a very quiet Cabana at Vistamar with kitchen. It was very clean and comfortable with evening breezes. Back gate led directly to several kilometers of sandy beach stretching to the Puertoviejo River. They included us in their family get together at Christmas and New Years Eve and helped us with our Spanish. They became long term friends for us here. We liked Ecuador so much we purchased a home in San Clemente and are doing the documents to allow us to stay. Bob and Lorna

We arrived in manta we were promptly greeted by our host and driven to our cabana. Upon Arrival cold water and fruit display awaited us... My wife and I chose this place because we wanted a peaceful and restful vacation....boy was it ever...we stayed 29 days and sat at their pool.... walked the beach on low tide...no frills.. A bus stops in front of the home and within 10 minutes you have small shops, restaurants, a friendly atmosphere..we chose the cabana as we did not want to be in the main building... A very good choice by my wife....a restaurant 2 doors down is open on weekends...very good food there as well as cocktails... Closes early be warned...the husband and wife team that run this ...really try to make your stay enjoyable..Eswado and Guirlene thanks so much... Btw the pictures of the area are accurate.
