Wonderful stay!

Beautiful property. Comfy beds. Hot tub was perfect. We had a blast with the Pool table and cornhole boards provided. Nice deck and looking at the goats was fun too. A great stay!

Plenty of room for our party of 4 ladies with a huge modern kitchen!

Plenty of room for us to eat together and retreat to our own spaces. Too bad there are only 2 full bathrooms and on the 1st floor, but they were both spacious and suited our needs. The kitchen had modern appliances, small appliances, ample dishes, pots and pans with plenty of room for more than 1 person to cook a meal. The hot tub was super clean and not too hot and not too cold. The campfire ring and playground were a nice bonus. Great house for families with children.

Groom’s Family Retreat

The lodge was way bigger than we thought. The listing shows only 1 bedroom, but was in fact a 4 bedroom. The two upstairs were somewhat warm-thankful it was a brisk October weekend. The lodge was definitely cleaned prior to our arrival. Cleaner was kind of a strong almost baby powder type smell-would recommend something less evasive smell wise. Other than that everyone enjoyed the living spaces and kitchen area of course. Bedrooms were nice size and beds were comfortable.

Flexibility

Unfortunately, lodge 2 had an abundance of air fresheners that did not agree with my allergies. However, we contacted the owner who allowed us to change to lodge 1. That property did not have as many air fresheners, it was very clean and the kitchen has pretty much anything you might need. It turned out to be a lovely weekend.
