What a perfect spot for our short stay in Prescott. The online pictures are absolutely spot on, the place is immaculate and the owner definitely has an eye for interior design. We will be reserving again when we return to the area.
This property was very well kept and had everything we needed. Jeanette was an amazing host who was great with communication and made sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay.
Super cozy and cute, the back patio has turf and great seating area. Me and my dogs were very comfortable. Be prepared for a little off road drive to the hilltop. But the views are worth it!
Everything was amazing about our rental, only downside was the driveway was a little tricky to manage but if you have a good driver/decent car all should be well.

We were not impressed and went go back
Listing should state that the road to the property is not paved and has a lot of ruts. We are glad we drove our SUV and not our sedan, and that there was no snow/rain to deal with. You need to get a good running start to pull into the “driveway”, or you’ll get stuck in the gravel. We weren’t provided the code to the front door-had to ask for it. Lock is very touchy. Owner had to tell us how to get in. Fix the lock! Umpteen light switches that aren’t labeled, and most do nothing. Tacky “mood lighting” in the bedroom doesn’t really work, and only goes about 3/4 of the way across the wall. So you have to rely on bright white lightbulbs that are in no way relaxing. Place looks nice on line, but we didn’t feel comfortable there. Rickety handrails on the front porch. Animals tipped over a garbage can in the driveway overnight. You’d think owner, who lives next door, would be watching over the place. But when garbage wasn’t picked up by 4pm, we had to ask for it to be removed. Not good. There’s a fire pit out back, but no propane. Astroturf is also tacky, in my opinion. Toilet is miniature in size, to the point of being laughable. Glad we didn’t pay any more than we did for a two-night stay. We wish we’d stayed at a hotel, even if it would have cost more.
The place was very, very clean. Lovely decor inside and out. There is a large smart tv in bedroom and in the family room. Loved the decorative fireplace. Close to shopping and about 10 min to downtown. The A/C worked very well too. The backyard was my favorite. The grass turf was a good idea and comfortable. My dog loved running around on it. You couldn’t possibly plant grass in the yard. Too mountainous, so this is the best option. The outside furniture was comfortable and it was so nice to sit outside for my morning coffee. Jeanette takes pride in her rental as reflected in her decor selections and cleanliness. She even dropped by some donuts for me to enjoy with my coffee. I will return. As for the steep dirt road access. There’s a business as you turn into the street with a few trucks parked on the road. Not to worry, her place is up on the mountain top. Yes, it is a dirt road with bumps, but it is a short way. It was not an issue for me. Just drive slowly. What you need to be aware of is where to park so when you back out you don’t put yourself on a steep angle. Then all is good. It was the perfect break I needed from the Phoenix heat. I will return.
