About this property
Santa Fe Style Charmer near University of Arizona
3 Bedroom, 2 Bath town home right in the heart of Tucson.
My home has all the charm of a traditional Santa Fe style home, with Saltillo tile, beehive fireplace, large, colorful kitchen and a covered back patio with views of the Catalina Mountains. There's a community pool in the development for your use.
The house is furnished and fully equipped with all modern appliances: refrigerator, ice maker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, washer, dryer and barbecue on the back patio.
You are a 5 minute bike ride out the front door to the famous Rillito River Path, which is a 21 mile path that traverses the city, and a 10 minute bike ride (5 minute drive) directly to the University of Arizona down private Mountain Road. Tucson was recently recognized as the only U.S. city as a UNESCO World Gastronomy site, and our home is located just around the corner from the "Campbell Corridor" where many of these great restaurants are located. In addition, there is a weekend Farmer's Market located at St. Phillips Plaza on this corridor, which is about a half mile away.
Sprouts, Trader Joe's and LA Fitness are conveniently located within 2 minutes drive, and my home is only 10-15 minutes from downtown Tucson, where all of the new and vibrant restaurants and activities are emerging. You can even hop on the light rail just 5 minutes from the house and ride that into downtown.
Come see what draws people from all over the world to Tucson and enjoy a stay in our little hidden gem.

About the host
Hosted by Chris McAdoo

I'm originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, but have lived in Tucson for 21 years. I have lived in NYC, L.A., Phoenix and Tucson. I am a passionate travel photographer, enjoy yoga, hiking and skiing in the winter time. I've also had the chance to travel all over the world and love discussing favorite travel destinations with my guests.
Why they chose this property
This was my first home in Tucson. Tucson is not super easy to traverse by freeway, so what I liked about this home when I bought it, was it's easy, close access to everything you want to get to. The location is hard to beat. The home is walking distance to the famous Rillito River path, where you can walk, ride your bike or rollerblade.
What makes this property unique
There are excellent restaurant choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and varying from casual to upscale, all within 5-10 minutes from my home.
