About this property
Large Historic Downtown FIVE Bedroom House
This beautiful historic home is located on one of the oldest streets in St. John’s, within walking distance to major tourist attractions. The main floor was freshly painted, and the home features many updates, including a fully equipped kitchen and two modern bathrooms, while preserving its downtown charm with vintage details. With five spacious bedrooms, each with queen beds, it sleeps 10 comfortably. The large backyard with a BBQ is perfect for summer relaxation!
This house is located on one of the oldest streets in St. John's! It is less than a 5 minute walk to Bannerman Park (great for guests with kids). Distance to other popular destinations:
- George Street (3 minute drive or 15 minute walk)
- Duckworth Street (1 minute drive or 3 minute walk)
- Water Street (1 minute drive or 4 minute walk)
- Harbourside Park (1 minute drive or 5 minute walk)
- Cabot Tower (5 minute drive or 20 minute walk)
- Mary Brown Centre formally known as Mile One (4 minute drive or 20 minute walk)
- St. John's Convention Centre (4 minute drive or 20 minute walk)
The living space of the house boasts 14 foot ceilings and still has some of the original flooring throughout. In the living room, dining room and two bedrooms there are original fireplaces (not to be used only for looks). The bathrooms each feature a gorgeous glass shower in each and the bathroom on the top floor has a free standing soaker tub. Tons of old downtown character with lovely updates throughout!
