Our relaxed studio is nestled on the coast in the village of Hermanus in the suburb of Vermont, with sea views from the deck and verandah. This idyllic location offers a perfect blend of serene village life and easy access to the landscapes that surround it.
The Nautical studio accommodates up to 2 guests, featuring a double bed. The area offers whale watching, fishing, an award winning wine route, MTB trails, hiking, museums, fantastic dining experiences, a salt pan and great local shops.
The space
Fully equipped solar electricity system - so no load shedding. Own entrance. Fully fenced.
Viewing deck which is 50m meters from Nautical Studio is perfect for whale, seabird or dolphin watching. The verandah is the perfect spot for sundowners. Sea views in a tranquil neighborhood. Close to the beach. Green belt on one side. There is a large braai/bbq.
Recently renovated with modern fittings.
Bio-ethanol fireplace in the room.
24 hour security.
Nespresso pod coffee machine and kitchen essentials available
Guest access
The suite has its own entrance with a security gate. Access to the property is via electrified gates. These will work during load shedding as we have backup power.
The viewing deck is a perfect spot for whale or dolphin watching with a cup of coffee. The verandah is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset.
Other things to note
There are cats and a dog on the premises.

Why they chose this property
Our quaint neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. The sea is so close that you are lulled to sleep with the sounds of crashing waves. But just a few kilometers away the village of Hermanus offers a myriad of delights.
What makes this property unique
As hosts we are personally there to meet and greet and see you off (unless there is a major issue) its a personal experience. We want to share our knowledge of the area so that you get the most out of your visit. The property allows for separate entrances for the accommodation and of course has amazing views.
