We stayed at this property recently and I had to reach out to the owner before arriving to confirm how we would access the cabin. Once we got there, I was a little disappointed that it didn’t really have the things you’d expect from a “cabin in the woods” experience—no fireplace, no fire pit, no grill, and no outdoor seating. There also weren’t any basic amenities like shampoo provided. On the positive side, there were clean sheets on the bed and fresh towels, which I appreciated. However, I unfortunately woke up with bites all over me from staying there. I’m not sure what type of bites they were, but it was definitely something from the cabin. The nest itself was a cool concept, and with just a little more effort from the host this could have been a much more enjoyable stay.
