We've stayed at the Aspens in various units at least 5 different times. This unit is pretty basic, could use a little refresh to update cracked bathroom tiles, chipped paint, ill fitting bathroom door and a few cupboards doors that need attention. All very minor issues. The unit stayed uncomfortably warm even with the heat turned off and the windows opened. The bed was super comfortable.

Excellent location!

Our family enjoyed the access to the Blackcomb gondola and wizard chair. Everything within walking distance is a definite perk. The unit was clean, organized and comfortable. The many hot tubs and the outdoor pool were enjoyed by all.

Great room, but kind of a hike to Whistler lift

Some friends and I stayed here in the summer for mountain biking at Whistler. This was a great room. The main bed was better and more comfortable than expected. The kitchen was useful, the room was clean and it felt pretty spacious even with a bunch of mountain biking gear. It has a pool and hot tub. For the price, I believe this was one of the best deals. However, beware that at the end of a day of mountain biking, it can feel like a pretty long uphill hike back to the room. Not terrible, but if you can get something comparable at the Whistler village, do it. Another downside is that you have to pay for the underground car parking. It is roughly $50 for 3 days. We tried to just use the public lot, or the shoulder of the road up to the room, but it was pretty inconvenient. Also, you are not supposed to bring your bike in the room, and I believe you have to pay like $25 to use the underground bike parking. There are some trees that are available that a lot of people locked their bikes to. Overall summary, I think this is a good deal, but this room location would be best for the winter.
