Plage Rose is an exceptional beachfront estate property in the prime location of Double Bay. It's grand entrance was featured in "The 700 experiences" (a blog about the 700 islands in the Bahamas) as one of the most prestigious entrances of the Bahamas. This 9 acre property is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation with numerous mature palms, trees, flowering bushes and shrubs.

Plage Rose fronts on 725 feet of incredible pink sand beach which is only steps away from both the main Villa and the guest cottage.

We have a new electric pool heater. The pool can be heated for a charge of $400 per week.

The main Villa is spacious and airy and allows the best of both indoor and outdoor living to merge as one. It offers breathtaking views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the lake and is ideally positioned to showcase sunrise and sunset views.

We'll begin our tour with the spectacular gourmet island kitchen. Its elegant decor features Italian furniture, and it is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including two wall ovens, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor, wine cooler, drop-in glass-top range, Nespresso coffee machine and two refrigerators. Just off the kitchen is a large and fully equipped laundry room with washer and dryer. Sliding glass doors from the kitchen lead to an outdoor patio. Side windows offer a view of the vegetable garden with all kinds of fresh herbs and vegetables that are at your disposal to create unforgettable meals.

Beside the kitchen is the formal dining room furnished with antique furniture and wall lights that offer just the right ambiance for intimate dinners as well as for family gatherings. Original Bahamian paintings complete the decor. A powder room is conveniently located between the dining room and the great room.

Beside the dining room is the great room with casually elegant decor that welcomes comfortable island living and it offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic on one side and the lake on the other. Three over-sized sofas and four island style chairs as well as a big screen TV provide a perfect spot for everyone to enjoy and relax. Two sets of sliding glass doors welcome you to the two great patios on each side of the house for outdoor living.

Beyond the great room is the guest bedroom, which features a beautiful ocean view, private patio, a brand new outdoor shower, and a new powder room area. It is furnished with a queen bed. Continue down the hall to enter the spacious master bedroom with a king bed and a walk-in closet with safe. An en-suite bathroom and shower room offers enough space for two people to shower at a time. A door from the shower room opens to the outside, a convenient way out to the beach or to the guest house. Sliding glass doors from both the guest bedroom and the master bedroom lead to private patios where you can relax and enjoy beautiful ocean views.

Located about 100 feet from the Main Villa is a separate 2 bedroom guest cottage with a central kitchenette area. Each bedroom has twin beds which can be converted to kings, and an en suite bathroom, shower & closet with safe. Air conditioning in bedrooms and bathrooms only. The guest cottage offers breathtaking views of the ocean, as it is also located directly on the beach. Each bedroom has a private patio.

Our stunning pink sand beach stretches for miles, and is an idyllic place for swimming, snorkeling, walking or just plain relaxing with a book and a cool drink under the 2 new palapas located right on the beach...
