Great Beach!

Playa Turquesa was on the nicest stretch of beach in the Bavaro area. The beach was spacious so that guests could spread out. The sunrise could be seen from the beach and we spent many hours enjoying the beach. The condo of 3 BR plus a loft was large enough to accommodate our family of 5, with two college students and a high schooler. The unit itself was clean upon arrival. The living room and dining room furniture was comfortable with a large dining room table for meals. A washer and dryer was available to do laundry while we were there. The condo location on the 4th floor was quiet. We had a good ocean view from our patio. Nader met us upon arrival and showed us where everything was located. Nader also gave us several recommendations for local restaurants and stores. The office and excursion staff were helpful in planning activities. A few considerations to know about before you arrive: Bring soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and paper towels as these were not provided with the condo and had to be purchased the night of our arrival. There is no dishwasher in the unit. There is an additional charge for electricity. Water jugs may need to be purchased; there were issues with the water filtration system at the resort. Not all bathrooms were in working order. One was not usable and was located in the maid's closet area (under construction). This was our first trip to the Dominican Republic. Our family enjoyed our time together in Punta Cana and at Playa Turquesa.

Rescued When Stranded by Blizzard of 2016!

First, a heart whelming Thank You to Nader, for coming to our rescue, and renting the 4 of us his condo for the extra 3 days we were stranded in Punta Cana. This condo is located on the 4th floor, (elevators in building) and provided a beautiful straight ocean view of the gorgeous Bavaro Beach. The condo is tastefully decorated in the Dominican style. This condo has the benefit of a gas water heater and dryer, which is huge, since one is responsible for the cost of electricity. Every room has a ceiling fan, which we only used while in the condo. We had no need to turn on AC, for you have a constant gentle breeze and this community is so safe, one can leave the windows/patio doors open at all times. This unit has a water cooler and Nader will provide you with a jug to get you started. Also there is a gas grill on the balcony, ( a must for us)! The beds were comfortable and extra blankets are provided. Upstairs loft is nice and roof terrace gives an excellent view of the town. It would be nice to have furniture on the terrace. Since this was a spur of the moment rental, the condo was not as clean as I would liked it to be but I am a "clean freak", and I didn't mind doing some quick cleaning. Nader is wonderful in assisting you ...for example, my husband likes to use wash cloths and the condo didn't have any, yet Nader drove to La Romana to purchase this. Pros: Free WiFi. A large screen TV in living area with DVD player. Located away from noise of local nightclub. Total of 5 bathrooms. Living area furniture upholstered in vinyl to prevent furniture stains. Cons: No TV in master bedroom. Community has problems with water...often turning off several times throughout the day. This is the FAULT of the owner of Playa Turquesa, not the CONDO OWNER. Playa Turquesa is located on the most beautiful stretch of Bavaro Beach. Bam grocery store entrance within complex. Other grocery stores within walking distance. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Citrus Restaurant provides meals served at the beach and there is a beach bar that has reasonable prices, CoCo LoCo is 6.00 and is delicious. El Tour Caribe Excursions located within the complex and provides excellent services...my daughter did an excursion alone to Santo Domingo and felt safe the entire time. We have been coming to the DR since 2000, staying at many AI, but find this community much more relaxing

Great trip, great place, great host.

The condo was as advertised and was a fair price. Electricity was cheaper than expected and Nader was very easy to get along with. Only complaint is that the hot water for showers is very sensitive to adjust, hot to cold was very little difference on the knob. However, this is a common issue at this complex as a whole, and probably in the country as a whole. We had family and friends in 8 other units in this complex and nearly everyone had the same issue. Not a huge issue, we didn’t go there for nice showers. If we return to Punta Cana we would rent from Nader again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and the view off the balcony is fantastic. We only used the AC in the bedrooms at night. The cross breeze in the main room and kitchen kept it at a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. The complex itself is very secure with a visible security presence that are extremely friendly and accommodating. The Playa Turquesa property is very clean, well maintained, and a short walk to a variety of diverse and extremely affordable restaurants. In between the restaurants is a market that has all of your essentials with a private entrance for people staying at Playa Turquesa. Javier assisted us upon our arrival and really set us up for a great week by taking the time to show us around the condo, the property, and a few of the restaurants (this took a lot of our "guessing" what might be good out of the equation and allowed us to enjoy our time in Punta Cana). The access to the beach is great and secure. There were plenty of beach chairs with plenty of space between so never feel crowded. The bar on the beach has great food and drinks with excellent service. Great times and we look forward to a return trip to the Dominican in the future.

Absolutely Fantastic!!!

This condo at Playa Turquesa met all of our needs and I highly recommend it to any large family. There were some issues when we arrived due to the hurricane from the the previous month but once brought to the attention of Nader he did everything in his power to have them rectified. Overall this was a relaxing vacation that was enjoyed by everyone in our group.

Fantastic stay, would love to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Nader's condo. Once I put the request in for this condo, Nader the owner called me shortly after. He was extremely kind and very accomodating. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The condo was clean, I thought it was great you could not hear the neighbors around us. The beach by far was the best for some distance. It was also a huge bonus the market was very close. There are also great restaurants across the street. We have recommended this location to many already. If we ever make it back to Punta Cana, we will for sure rent this location again. Thank you again Nader. The Edelmans from Wisconsin

Great family destination

Nader's condo was roomy and just what our family needed for 10 great days in the sun. Javier met us there at check-in, showed us around the condo, and was very helpful and available the entire time for any questions, etc. It was a pleasure to get to know him. We didn't do a lot of cooking since there are so many great restaurants within a short walk/drive, but all the basics are there if you choose to do so. Each room has its own air conditioner, but up on the 4th floor the breezes were such that we rarely used them. The deck off the living area was especially nice to sit out on in the evening with the breeze. We didn't have any issues with power or water availability. There is a nice elevator to get those big suitcases up and down, but also an open stairway we mostly used. We found cartoons on the TV in the morning for the 5-year old, and the Wi-Fi performed very well. The condo is well situated along the beach, and you can walk either way as far as you want to. Neither the private beach or pools were crowded, and we were always able to find loungers to use. The pools were just right for the 5-year old in our family, and he spent many hours in them. All in all a very nice stay and experience on our first trip to the DR, and much more to see on our next visit. Places I would recommend to try the food at include Wacamole, Citrus, Pastrada, Jellyfish, and Balicana. Thank you Nader for your hospitality.

A Great Vacation

This condo exceeded any expectations we had. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner, Nader, at the front desk and received our indentification bracelets and were escorted directly to the unit. The condo was very clean and supplied with the basics to get settled in. Nader also had cold beer and Coca Cola in the refrigerator for us. Nader gave us the tour of the condo explaining where everything was and was more than helpful for the entire stay.The condo was quite comfortable for us as well as the guests that came to visit. The proximity to the markets and restaurants, as well as the beach and the 2 swimming pools was only a couple minutes walk. If you would like to shop elsewhere, there are 2 shopping plazas , Palma Real, and San Juan, a short taxi ride away. The entire complex of Playa Turquesa was kept immaculate by the hard working staff. We never had a problem finding loungers at the beach or pools. We were in this condo for 2 months and enjoyed every minute. We will be returning in January 2018 for another 2 month stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you again Nader, for everything.

Great place.

The owner - Nader was supper helpful and provided us with fantastic service. Overall communication with him was great from the beggining. Condo is well-appointed and comfortable with beautiful terrace, view and private beach. We stayed there for 10 days and enjoyed it very much. There are a lot of good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It's just the place to be in Punta cana :) Would recommend this place to all families, couples who visit Punta Cana.

Hi, i visit , AND was in this place, and i just have to say is spectacular, very nice unit, with a very nice furniture, a very nice view, and very nice services. The wifi is excellent, i lived here from April to November 2016, and was very satisfied, the unit has a BBQ, and all the equipment, to have perfect day. Turquesa is a very secure place to be in, security 24 hours, i lived there perfect and very happy. If You can Go, to punta cana, and are looking for a cool and calm place, where you will enjoy, the view, the ocean, pools, and be very secure this is the place. 100% i will be back 😀😀😀

A great home for our vacation!

Thank you Nader for letting us stay in your beautiful condo! It was beautiful and was in the best location in the area! We loved how close it was to the pool, beach and stores for groceries! We felt safe and got to know some of the "snowbirds" there! We loved the evening breezes and didn't even have to turn on the AC! We made great use of the patio for breakfasts, the occasional lunches and after dinner drinks! We look forward to our next stay at your place and will recommend this property to any of our friends and family. Thank you Nader for your prompt replies and excellent service. Also a big thank you to Anna (your on site contact)- who also was kind, friendly and so helpful! We are hoping to come back next year!

Fabulous property

This condo unit was exactly like the pictures. It was beautiful and in a very safe gated/secure complex. Pools were always available and the beachfront was gorgeous. There was never a shortage of beach loungers at the beach or the pool. The owner (Nader) & the on-site check in contact (Anna) gave us excellent customer service and always responded promptly. We would highly recommend this property to any of our friends or relatives. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Punta Cana. Thank you for a great stay.

Six Wonderful Weeks

This is a property that we would return to, without hesitation. Before we even arrived, we felt comfortable in preparation due to the assistance of Nader. He was in constant contact with us, leading up to our arrival, ensuring a smooth transition from airport to penthouse. This property was beautifully kept, which is always your first sigh of relief. Entering the penthouse, it was roomy and very clean. The location and view is spectacular!!! Comfort is a priority when staying somewhere for six weeks. That being said, we could have stayed longer. The property had everything you needed, or was close to everything else you might need. Looking forward to returning soon!!

This property is located in one of the best beaches of Bavaro, Punta Cana, among all the resorts. It is one of the best maintained and most popular location in all of punta cana. It is a gated community with lots of space, with more than 10 restaurants in front of the gate, gift shops, excellent coffee shops, bakery, mini markets, and shopping mall within 5 to 10 min drive by local bus, or car. Let's put it this way you build it they will come since Playa Turquesa is build every other touristic commerce has come to front or around this complex, and there are no others like it.
