The cabin was very cozy overall and the super soft beds made for a great nights sleep every night! The water pressure in the shower was kind of low, but we made it work. There is a building with stuff out front right next door, but we didn’t have any issues and had a relatively quiet stay. The cabin was clean, had extra blankets and towels if needed, and an adorable coffee bar! Would definitely stay again!
Poorly maintained. No water for a day and a half. Washing machine leakwd water all over floor. Dryer didn't work!

I can't help but whenever a well pump goes out on a shared well on a Sunday. I gave you water and told you if you needed anything, please let us know. Water was back on the next day had a new pump in the well as soon as possible. If people don't tell me something's not working. I can't fix it thank you!
Girls weekend and we enjoyed this place very much! Close to town and not far from Springfield! We did use and enjoy the deck and outside area. Looking forward to staying again soon!
House was as described. Older place located about 3 miles out in the country with a nice back deck. House was clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay with kids. Not the fanciest, but priced fair.
We were traveling for a wedding. We had a great time. The property is beautiful. The check-in process was so smooth. Toni was so easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!! We even visited the AmVets two driveways down and met some great people we will never forget, had great food and a very good time!!
We loved this location, the decor was adorable. Our daughter loved the catfish pillow. Would definitely love to stay here again if we come back to the area!
My overall experience was great. My sister & I stayed for a week for a religious getaway. We had great communication with the owner. We had beautiful scenery, quiet privacy, and quick access to town when we wanted to buy groceries or go to a restaurant. By the way, I can recommend Enrique's Mexican Restaurant in Stockton, if you're like me and can't go a week without your Mexican food fix!We were both facing serious health conditions, so we chose this location because it was equally accessible to both my home and hers, so that if we had a medical emergency, we could get back to our individual doctors and homes easily. I would change a couple of things, like more lighting in the living room, a more comfortable couch and a disability-friendly toilet. But overall, we were quite happy, comfortable and satisfied with our stay. I would definitely recommend this rental for quiet, family-friendly visits.
The cabin lived up to all off our expectations. Check in was easy and the hosts went above and beyond what is required of them. Our car blew a coolant hose on the way to the cabin and was in the shop in Stockton until 3pm on our departure day. They graciously let us hang out until it was ready. They helped in too many ways to describe. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We saw no mouse droppings as written in previous reviews. Actually, their Orkin man came for his monthly treatment just as we were leaving. We will definitely be back.
The host was great, and check in was smooth and easy. I will mention that the shower does need some TLC, and the bath mat inside of it held water and seemed unhygienic. Otherwise, the property was clean and extremely put together. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher, and the bunk beds are extremely uncomfortable. I laid on them for just a second and could feel the rails in my back. We also had a few rails fall out in the middle of the night, however the host was great at getting in touch with us after we reached out. The layout was nice in person, but I was super confused when booking on what it would look like. Would add something to clear that up. The other thing I would mention is adding tongs in the kitchen. Overall would stay again, but plan on not using the bunk beds.
The picture makes it look like this place sets out by itself in a nice rural environment. Doesn't show that there is not hardly any place to turn a boat around unless you pull in the front yard between trees and do a turn about back into the drive (not easy)and doesn't show the crappy looking shed sitting right next to it with all the run down equipment, trucks, and junk laying around.Time spent outside getting fishing stuff ready was anything but relaxing between dogs constantly barking, kids running around and parents yelling (I mean screaming) at their kids and work going on at the fore-mentioned shed. The goats and cows nearby would be welcomed noise if not for everything else. The "house" itself was pretty clean, at least as clean as something that is 40-50 years old (with plumbing and electrical outlets that look to date back to the 60's and 70's) CAN get. That is the highlight...."at least the place was clean", bed was comfortable and old couch was reasonably comfortable. AC worked.I brought coffee, so I was disappointed that there was no coffee make, but they did have Keurig. Drive was about 20 minutes to State Park boat ramp. I, completely by accident, packed their roku remote with my rain bibs (after they dried, I laid them on the foot rest by the couch) and I must have laid the remote on the same foot rest and when I grabbed it all Sunday morning, the remote ended up in my box. I'll just say the owner was very b*tchy about it. I'll never stay there again

Gentlemen got very threatening when I sent him a bill for the remote. So I quit responding to his threats and called vrbo help line on him. So they knew what was going on. You just don't know what people are capable of anymore.

The house was charming from the outside, but inside needs some TLC!! They had a fishing decor throughout, that was pleasant, but you’ve got to go deeper than looks!! The couches in the living room were so soft once you were down you couldn’t get up with any kind of ease!! Got a couple of bowls out for popcorn and they had mouse droppings in them!!! Everything we used in the kitchen we washed!! Would have been nice to have a dishwasher so things could have been sanitized!! The bed we slept in was so soft you rolled to the middle of the bed, really hard to get out of!! The lamps beside the bed didn’t work, saw they were unplugged, so plugged them in and still no light!! Decided to just plug in my phone and it wouldn’t charge, the outlet doesn’t work!! So got a chair from the kitchen to set by a different outlet so we could charge our phones!! And then there’s the main bathroom!! It needs a deep, deep cleaning or a total remodel!! The edges and corners were really dirty and the tub had a lot of hard water buildup and the caulk was dry, cracked and dirty! They need a better hot water heater!! Ran out of hot water before I could get finished washing my hair, had to finish in the sink in the kitchen!! There were mouse droppings in all the cabinets in the bathroom and sticky traps that were not doing the job!! Also the curtains throughout were more like sheers. Last but not least, a deadbolt on the front door would make you feel more secure!!! I would not stay again!!
