We had a great time here! Big enough for a few families, close to hiking and Lake Placid village. Mike was very easy to communicate with and the listing is truly accurate. Beautiful A-frame great room!

Lake Placid Stay

Good locations fairly close to many of the Adirondack attractions. Place was nestled in the woods. Clean place with all the comforts of home.

Lake Placid

Family Getaway

My family rented Whispering Pines this past weekend and had a great time. The host was very friendly and responsive! Their house was clean and welcoming and plenty of room for the 6 of us that stayed. It was a good 25 mins to Lake Placid to see the Olympic sites and to stores but that wasn’t terrible. Was a quiet and peaceful vacation!

The place was so easy to find, yet very private. The house was amazing with so many updates as described. Everything was just as pictured. We enjoyed 10 of our family with lots of room to sleep and all sit together for dinner. It was extremely clean and Mike was so good to communicate with. We enjoyed the hot tub, the volleyball in the yard, a wonderful fire in the fireplace and so much more. A great choice for our family get away.

Wedding Ready

We were a party of 10 and had a wedding, the house was very close to our venue and the property was roomy enough for all of us. My only suggestion would be to add mirrors in the bedrooms. It was a little difficult all of us getting ready with only the 2 bathrooms and no mirrors. Overall we had a great weekend and would stay again!

Amazing Experience

Exactly as advertised. Any questions we had the owners were extremely responsive. Heat was great. I emphasize that because we have stayed in other places and when the temps get to negative water lines freeze, bedrooms are cold. But not here. Temps in all rooms were what we wanted. No issues with the water. Definitely would recommend renting here for your family.
