Peacefully located near Kayak Point, we are far enough away to relax, yet close enough to stay connected! Nightly lodging provides accommodations for up to 6 guests. You will enjoy our relaxed space and at same time thoroughly appreciate beautiful hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen, 65” smart TV, a private master suite, modern bathrooms with heated toilets, second private bedroom with comfy queen bed and full size crib (2nd crib available) for little guests, and access to beautiful outdoor grounds. There is also one more queen bed and a double bed in a semi-private space in the open area, see photos. Especially perfect for a romantic weekend or a fun family vacation! Come and enjoy all it has to offer!

Excellent Location

Large home on beautiful landscape surroundings with walking paths. The home had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The host is very kind and was flexible with our reservation needs. We look forward to another stay!

Peace and quiet in a great location!

We were pleasantly surprised with the size and set up of the house. My kids loved the pool table and foosball. The property is beautiful! Location is awesome, super friendly host!All around 5 stars!!

Absolutely beautiful property

Great spot for myself and 2 friends attending a dog training workshop. Wish we were there just for relaxation. Property is landscaped beautifully. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful kitchen to prepare our meals and fresh raspberries picked from the garden for morning breakfast.

Large Space in a Quiet Country Setting

We really enjoyed staying at this house in the country. It's a large, open space with plenty of room for a larger group or family. The location is quiet, with lovely landscaping and areas to walk around. Our dog was welcomed, and loved the walking paths. The host was very nice and friendly, and responsive when we had an issue. Although it's out in the country, it was pretty easy to get into Seattle, Anacortes, Bellingham, and North Cascades National Park. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Private Retreat

Dale's property is wonderful. We had to vacate our home due to water damage repair and spent a week here. The home is spacious, modern and well appointed. His property, which he made us feel welcome to explore, was a great place to take our dogs on relaxing walks. Thank you for being a gracious host!

Home away from hhome

This is 3rd stay at the property so that should say something. The layout of this home is perfect for family get together. This trip we got to see a lot of friends. The location is great and communication with Dale the owner is spot on. Love it!!!!

Family vacation

We visited family in the 7-Lakes area and this rental was perfect, close to everything you need from stores to outdoor activities. We were able to easily get down to Seattle, San Juan’s, and north Cascade trail access (Sauk Mountain, Baker Lake). Our host was friendly and accommodating, easily our best family vacation. The rental itself is wonderful, plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy family time. The only problem was the two weeks went by too fast!

Something for everyone

This quiet, lovely place is well cared for and has something for everyone: a large modern kitchen, spacious game room with pool table, tranquil paths to wander through gardens and wooded area. The location provides quick access to lakes and parks for paddlers and hikers. It’s not too far from shopping and I-5 if you’re visiting or sightseeing. Dale is friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to returning!

Thanksgiving 2024

Dale was so accommodating, I’ve never had a smoother stay. We were able to host our family for our first Thanksgiving as a family together in 9 years and he made it all possible. He even went so far as to buy more cutlery and set out fresh crib sheets. 10/10.

Wheelchair accessible

The house was perfect for my elderly dad who is in a wheelchair. Showers, doorways, and all the rooms were completely accessible. And there's a paved area next to the front door so no stairs that we had to deal with. The property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We even got to pick some berries! The owner takes great pride in it and he was lovely to deal with. Very responsive in all our communications and made sure we were taken care of while we were there. We would definitely come back.

Kayak Point Getaway

This is a great house that has a fantastic layout for having any family event. This is the 2nd time we rented from Dale and once again we were not disappointed. The open concept allowed us to have 2 nightly dinner and game parties. Will be back for sure

Spacious is an understatement!

This property is much larger than it might appear from the outside. I was alone this trip, but it reminded me of retreats during college days with lots of friends as it includes a large game room. I hope to return with family. The kitchen is large and supplied with everything one might need.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Peaceful

We came to Washington to visit my daughter, her husband and their brand new baby boy. We needed a place that was dog friendly to hang out because their house is being remodeled. This place was just what we were looking for! The house is comfortable with lots of places to sit and converse. The kitchen is open to the living room so the cooks never feel isolated. And the kitchen is well appointed. And it was easy to clean. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We walked around with their old dog and he loved the new smells! The main bedroom was very comfy. Finally a bed that wasn’t too hard! I can foresee staying here again, maybe with my other kids and their families because there was plenty of room!! Dale is a terrific host. Easy to contact and accommodating.

Better Than Expected

Very nice property , was just what we were looking for. Dale has put a lot of work into the property and it shows. Nice walking trails that our dog just loved and a very comfortable home.

Get away hideout

The pictures don’t do this home justice. Very spacious with awesome layout to accommodate family events and get aways. We can during the winter but really close to Kayak Point park which our dog really enjoyed. We will be back

Super clean and great location!

We stayed at Dale’s property to have our own space during a family reunion near Kayak Point. Dale’s property is beautiful, and we felt welcome to wander the grounds and enjoy it all. We even had fresh tomatoes from his garden—such a treat! The house was incredibly clean with plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 little kids. It’s location up the road from Kayak Point was perfect. I’d definitely recommend this home for anyone staying in the area!

Washington vacation

We ran into issues getting to the rental property. Dale was very understanding and helpful. He had everything ready for us since we were arriving late at night. Dale offered all of his property for us to explore, which was wooded property. The house was very spacious which gave us plenty of room for the 5 of us. Dale made us feel like we were at home while staying there. We would definitely stay at his rental again. Thank you very much Dale for giving us an experience we will cherish forever
