The cabin features a cozy living room with a queen sofa bed, if needed. Covered parking for 2 cars and a fully fenced in backyard to let your dog run free while you grill on the back deck. "NEW" firepit and covered pavilion. Take advantage of the amenities available, including a new washing machine & dryer, heating/AC, high speed WiFi and a bonus game room & workspace upstairs. With 2.5 bathrooms, equipped with showers and hair dryers, your stay will be nothing short of delightful. The property was perfect for my wife and my large pup - golden retriever. It's also a great location - close to Lake Toxaway, Cashiers and other areas for outdoor activities. We vacation in Lake Toxaway every year and we plan on rebooking this property next year.

Lovely dog friendly cabin. Renters have access to renting a boat at the marina. Even though it was raining we enjoyed fishing off the pontoon boat. You can rent tubes, paddle boards, canoes and kayaks. Covered patio, fire pit and fenced in yard were appreciated extras.

Delightful property!

Very clean, very comfortable, well appointed cabin at Lake Toxaway. I just wish the weather had been nicer to be able to get out on the beautiful, large porch and enjoy the outdoor scenery!! We had everything we needed and our host was extremely responsive and available. Thank you for making our Memorial Day weekend a great experience!

Perfect Mountain getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at White Squirrel Cabin! The spacious accommodations, comfortable beds and fabulous wrap around deck was just what our family needed! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to serve up breakfast or cook/grill dinner! We loved waking up each morning and listening to the birds with a cup of coffee on the porch. The host, Chris, was also very responsive and gave us some great recommendations around the area. Highly recommend staying here and I know we will be back.

It was perfect for our needs at beautiful Lake Toxaway! Our growing family requires more space these days…Extended family home on the same street gets tight with babies and dogs. This home had everything we needed and more! Golden Retrievers, Fred and Curtis, give it 5 stars too! Glad to have this home as an option for overflow when we all get together.

Lovely Getaway in the Mountains

We had a great stay at this lovely home. We were traveling with three generations and the layout was perfect - master on the main floor with two bedrooms upstairs with the foosball table in the loft - which was a huge hit! The home is well appointed and very clean. It also has a big flat yard for everyone to play outside, which is hard to come by in this area. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the front porch - there is a partial lake view but also the wonderful sound of the lake. Tons of outdoor activities are within a short drive, we also rented a boat in the afternoon on Lake Toxaway. Chris was an excellent host and we'd definitely stay again!

Fantastic Getaway!

What a wonderful location! Sunrise views over the lake, clear starry nights, fenced in yard for dogs, and flat space for kids to play! White Squirrel is located right in between some of the best hiking locations in WNC. Brevard and Cashiers are minutes away with great dining and shopping (and great local breweries). We spent most of our time outside, but when we were inside, we enjoyed the spacious kitchen, foosball table, games and big screen tv's. This is a great place for families (we have 2 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs) with plenty to do! Thanks White Squirrel! OH! BTW, we DID see a white squirrel on one of our hikes!
