Paulette, thank you for the positive review! If I had better control of the weather, I would have hoped you would have had a 5 Star stay. Thanks again for choosing the Tennessee Tahoe. I hope you come back again.
Our 2nd stay at Tennessee Tahoe great place in quiet neighborhood. Spent most of our time at boathouse. Close to twin creek marina.Check in was simple Jon was very helpful . Recommend this property very family friendly.
Fantastic cabin for relaxation for the entire family
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tennessee Tahoe. The dock and quiet cove were our favorite area. The kids found a love for paddle boarding & it was easy to pull the boat up and dock to get out of the storm. The ongoing updates are visible. It’s a great area for quality family time!
We were going pleasantly surprised by the size of the cottage! Initially we planned for 6 adults but our daughter joined with her 3 kids. We had plenty of
This cottage was everything we could’ve wanted and more! The owners have thought of everything!! Our favorite part was the dock. We spent majority of our stay in the waters off the dock or fishing off the dock. We only left the house once the whole 5 days we were there. The house was very spacious and it was nice having the covered porches when it rained on the last night. We will definitely be returning in the future when we make our way back to Tennessee!
Great vacation location. Perfect size for large group!
We had a wonderful time. It was spacious and clean. The only thing I would recommend is enforcing the walkway to the water with stairs the whole way. The stepping stones were uneven and day 1 I twisted my ankle and knee and fell. Wasn't able to go down to the water the whole week.

Family Mini-Reunion
The house was perfect for our little reunion. The kids loved the bunk bed room. The kitchen was well equipped. Spent most of the time on the upper porch just chilling with family. Swimming was fun but could use a ladder on dock to get out of the water. Had a question and the owner returned my call immediately. Access to water is somewhat steep but do- able. Quiet and peaceful.

Thank you for the positive review.
Thank you also for the recommended improvement to add a ladder. I have one on order and will be adding it soon.
Thanks for choosing the Tennessee Tahoe; I am glad you enjoyed your stay!
House and dock were very nice. The pathway to get down to the lake was a bit rough and steep. One of the older steps was rotten. Stairs need to be done all the way to the dock with hand rails. House was a little dusty but overall clean. We only were given one extra trash bag and no extra toilet paper or paper towel, we did have to buy those when we got there. Didn’t care for the spiral stair case, very hard for older or larger people to go up and down. Host was very nice and quick to answer any questions. The neighbor next door either used his leaf blower most of the day or pressure washed all day so it wasn’t very quiet. Overall though we had a great family weekend.

Nice Lake Getaway
Two families rented this house for Memorial Day weekend. It was a nice place to stay, but not without some flaws. To start, the location was perfect. It's in a nice secluded cove away from the main lake traffic. The boat dock and lift were perfect! There was even a paddle boat which the kids and adults enjoyed. Moving on to the house, the basement was perfect for a group of 8 kids - a place for everyone to sleep comfortably and a place for them to hang out. Moving on to the upstairs, the kitchen is small and tricky to maneuver when preparing food for 12 people. The cabinets were very disorganized and the oven is very old and burned some of our food. We did most of our cooking on the grill, which worked great, but was under the deck. The main floor shower had no cold water, so the basement shower had to be shared. Thank goodness it was just a weekend trip! We had the kids "shower" in the lake - bar of soap and bottle of shampoo - works great! An outdoor shower would be a nice addition to this property.

Terri,
Thank you for your positive review and items of note for improvement.
We strive for continuous improvement of our property for the benefit of our family and other families to enjoy; all while trying to preserve the cozy cabin feel that makes spending time "at the lake" a memory-making experience.
Regarding the cold water supply to the upstairs shower - this issue was immediately addressed and resolved as soon as a plumber could be scheduled.
The stove will be checked out for proper operation and repaired / replaced as necessary.
Regarding organization of the kitchen, the cleaning service will be coordinated with to ensure they know the proper placement of cookware, appliances, etc. Our goal is to provide a full complement of cookware & small appliances to ensure all guests' needs are accomodated.
Thank you again for choosing the Tennessee Tahoe.
We had a great stay at this property. The pictures are an accurate depiction. It's an older, not updated, house, and I think it is priced accordingly. It was clean inside. There was an issue with the property, which the owner notified us about before we arrived, and everything was taken care of satisfactorily. One of the best parts for us was enjoying the double decker dock. The kids had fun jumping from it, and it was convenient to be able to pull our boat up to it.
My family & I really enjoyed this lake front property. Great property with a great location.. We'd definitely consider renting again in the near future
Enjoyed out stay so much we booked the place for the following weekend. Will become part of the summer tradition for my family and I. The place lives up to the name. Definitely feels closer to the mountains.
The lake access area at this property was simply amazing! We brought our own paddle board, fishing gear and some float toys. Between those, the amazing dock and water as well as the provided paddle boat and kayak, our family of 10 had more than enough to keep everyone very happily entertained the entire weekend. Wonderful memories made!
We were very pleased with the Tims Ford Lake property. The house was large enough for our large group. The dock was excellent!
