A decent hotel. Clean, comfortable room, albeit overpriced (but all of Boston is overpriced). The biggest positive is that it is in walking distance to Fenway Park, and it's located in a clean and safe neighborhood. What I didn't like was that all amenities were contracted out. The Hotel restaurant/food options were all part of the adjacent Galleria--all run and controlled by the Galleria. The parking was shared with the Galleria and operated independent of the hotel. No valet parking and, there were glitches getting in and out of the garage, which the Hotel took no responsibility for. I even had to pay to unload my car rental, because there is no hotel driveway, thus no temporary parking. Finally, the fitness facility was contracted to an off-site gym (a quarter-mile walk from the hotel). That was okay--a better equipped gym than normal--but it didn't open until 10am on Sunday, which rendered it unusable. The staff was fine. Acceptably polite and helpful, but clearly nothing above and beyond. In short, this hotel would rate, perhaps, a "good" for an under 200/night hotel. However, for a luxury-priced hotel (yes, it is Boston), it was just okay.
