This property was in a perfect location, just 10 minutes to Sunday River where we had 2 full days of amazing ski conditions. Plenty of space for the 10 adults and 3 children in our party. The kids had fun playing in the snow and on the swing set out back. The beds were comfortable. The house was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots/pans, towels. There was a drug store, gas station/convenience store and several restaurants close by. We will definitely stay here again.
Wow! Such a comfortable home convenient to slopes and layout was great for three families with high school/college kids. Three bedrooms upstairs for parents and plenty of room for kids to spread out downstairs. Well equipped kitchen. Trrrific wood burning fireplace
The house is huge and beautiful. There were some minor problems such as a broken kitchen cabinet, missing smoke detectors, leaking AC units (near outlets), missing tiles in the pool, broken hood vent above the stove, and a leak from an upstairs shower that came through the ceiling on the lower level. The owners were aware of the leak and the and instructed us to just catch it with a bucket and they will fix it when we leave. Overall our stay was great. The house is very well stocked and in the perfect location. Owner was ver responsive when we reached out. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed a weeklong three-generational family summer vacation! There was plenty to do at the home, downtown, and locally. The pool, hot tub, dining room and fireplaced living room provided the perfect settings for family gatherings, games, and lots of reading. The view from the living room and primary room open tiled shower are exquisite! The house was very clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. There is some carpentry required for this home to reflect its full potential, but the host was very responsive to our suggestions, so hopefully those will be taken care of soon. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
This is a secluded location with plenty of space to enjoy both inside and outside. The house was well stocked with kitchen gear and basic spices. Each room had a mini split for optimal comfort. My daughter had a great time on the swings in the backyard.
We would love to stay here again.
This house was perfect for our group of four families, each with kids under the age of 5. We all had our own space and bathrooms. Loved the giant fireplace and large dining room table. The swing set in the backyard kept the kids entertained. Will be back next year!
Tranquil, private location yet extremely close to town and hiking adventures. The house is spacious, the beds comfortable, and the owner available for questions and responsive. The house accommodated our group very well. No complaints! Would stay there again.
This house was excellent for a large group of adults all getting together in the area! There were tons of rooms and bathrooms so everyone had their own spot, and lots of large common spaces so we could all hang out together. The owners were gracious enough to keep the pool open for us in mid September and it got plenty of use since it was heated. The house is starting to show its age a little bit but that did not impact our stay at all. The owner was very fast responding to all my questions!

Outdated and falling apart.. read reviews if you have children!
The layout of this house is great, which was the initial appeal to our large family. Reviews were mixed but we thought it would be ok. Having a washer and dryer was nice. We had plenty of towels and they supplied beach towels. This house was in its prime.. 25 or so years ago. It had been neglected and a lot of things in the house were broken. Every single game in the “game room” is broken. Not one works the way it should. Dishwasher handle is falling off, toilets leak, one was propped up with plywood, bathrooms are all outdated, grout and caulking had mold.. we were afraid to put our children in it. We ended up using the shower and hosing them off in the master bath. The stair rods fall out of the railing. There are building materials in a majority of the the bedroom closets. There are broken pool items all over the place. If you look over the pool railings, the whole deck is surrounded by garbage. We walked down to the fire pit and you cannot help but notice all the garbage piled under the deck. The hallway ceiling downstairs started to leak the last day we were there but it looks like it has happened before. The deck that the grills are on is gross.. one didn’t work and the other caught on fire once it was started. We decided we won’t be back. It’s a shame. This house could really be beautiful if it was given some tlc and all the junk was thrown away.
We absolutely loved our stay at Caribou Run. The pool was so nice. The privacy, the location and the space was perfect to accommodate all 11 of us. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
Nice property lots of open areas to entertain. Pool was very nice. Lots of bedrooms, we all had a good time. Some chairs were broken but still worth the stay. Also theres a bear lurking around making a mess of the dumpster.
The house was great! It was extremely spacious and clean and accommodated all of our needs. The host was very responsive and provided us with everything we needed prior to checking in.
Our group of 11 ladies absolutely loved this house! It's gorgeous! The pool was a huge focal point and gathering spot. Deck is huge and well equipped with plenty of chairs, tables and umbrella. The bedrooms are beautiful. Everything about this house is perfect!! Had everything we needed. We will be coming back
This property was wonderful to stay at and celebrate with some friends for the weekend. Enough king-sized beds for a small army. The heated pool was the highlight of the house with the temperature in the low 60s.
We enjoyed this property and plan on returning. Our favorite aspects include nice big dining room table, plenty of space and beautiful view of mountains
Great rental property for a large group of people. House was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of firewood and the hot tub was great after a long day at Sunday River. Lots of space. Would definitely rent again.
Beautiful property in a private location but not far from all the amenities you need. At one point there were 12 of us and we never felt crowded, everyone had their own space and TV and the pool was loved by all.
My friends and I rent a ski-house every ski season and this house may have been the most perfect we’ve ever found. Spacious for our big group, we had several kids and several dogs. Gorgeous views, spacious living space, open kitchen for gathering, large dining table for meals for all to enjoy together. Clean, easy, GREAT location less than 10 minutes from Sunday River Mountain. We hope to stay here again!
