Great set-up for a group

The grounds were very well maintained and a lot of fun activities for the family to do. The suit was nicely laid out and had enough room for our entire family. We really had a very comfortable trip.

Not exactly as advertised

We were told when we booked that we wouldn’t be given a sales pitch for a time share. They lied. We sat through the sales pitch which we were told was supposed to be 90 minutes. It turned into 2 and half hours, even though we told them we weren’t buying. Overall it was clean. No maid service. Nice big pool. But we won’t be back this way again.

I knew we were going to enjoy our stay because the Staff at the Reception station was awesome. Our room was spacious and had everything we wanted/needed - including a balcony with an amazing view looking out at the lake. This was our first time but not our last as we are planning to return next year.

Great stay

This is a great resort and the only one I've stayed at in last several years that doesn't charge an activities fee which can add from 6 to 20 dollars a day extra after you arrive. Everyone was very helpful. Contacted housekeeping twice for some extra items that were at our door in a matter of minutes.

Williamsburg VA

The kids enjoyed searching the pond shore for turtles and snakes. The Jamestown site was very interesting--we especially enjoyed poking around on the replica sailing boats. The Williamsburg village was too much walking for us, and not very interesting for the kids. However, we did enjoy seeing Patrick Henry and General Lafayette.

Beautiful property but…

We loved the property. But the high pressure sales to buy into a timeshare was very off putting! It was so bad. My wife started crying because she wanted to just leave. It totally ruined our first day. Mind you. My mother had just passed away two weeks before. And that was the main reason we were on a vacation!!!

Grandkids 2023 Trip

Beautiful property. Many things to do. A little too much walking for the older folks. Only down thing was too much pressure to sit through their timeshare program. I told them from the start we were not interested but the lady continued for several minutes changing offers trying to make me feel like I was stupid for not accepting a chance to sit and listen to their pressure. Not until my husband walked over and shut her down it she stop. No way will we ever purchase a timeshare property. We are retired and only take maybe one short trip per year. Thank you for have such an incredible facility. If we ever come to Willilamsburg again which is doubtful we will definitely stay there.

Very happy with our stay here. Great communication with front desk, good location. Nice to have an elevator for second floor suite. One note: handbars and mat needed in tub/shower combo. I slipped and fell getting out and was badly hurt. Six stitches in my arm, wrenched shoulder and entire back of one thigh bruised. I did not tell the front desk about this—probably should have doe future changes. Otherwise, I recommend this resort.

Williamsburg summer vacation

Had a little bit of a hiccup during the check-in process. For some reason, my name wasn’t showing on the reservation. It took about 45 minutes before they realized what was wrong. Made the more stressful because we were checking in on a weekend day and the listing company wasn’t showing open. But all that being said, everyone was very sweet about it and the manager worked hard getting it straightened out for me.It is a great resort and has quite a lot to offer on site for families with children. We especially loved that the pool was child friendly. The deepest part was about 4 feet. Any time we needed any towels or assistance, we knew someone was just a quick text away.
