Enjoy Ole Miss football weekends in our new, beautifully decorated cottage, a mere 20 minute walk from the Grove and the Oxford Square. Located in Oxford's most prestigious and historic neighborhoods, you can walk to town or campus on the wooded trail through William Faulkner's Rowan Oak estate or through the most beautiful, tree lined neighborhood in Oxford.

Wake up knowing you do not have to get in a car and fight the traffic. Coffee fixings provided as well as a delicious breakfast casserole, upon request. Pour yourself a drink and relax on one of two outdoor decks. Minutes from the excitement of Oxford and Ole Miss yet peaceful and secluded. Hosts are knowledgeable and eager to share recommendations for dining, shopping and other attractions in the area.

We had a terrific stay at this cottage. Everything is new and very clean. The cottage provides very comfortable living quarters in the heart of Oxford. The location is perfect for events on campus and is a nice walk from the square.The hosts were also great! They ensured we had an easy check in and all necessities. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone coming to Oxford.

The cottage was perfect for parents weekend at Ole Miss. The property was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. We walked into town easily and also enjoyed a visit to Rowan Oak. Ward was a fantastic host and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this lovely cottage for a trip to Oxford!

AC did not work on the night we arrived. Host didnt answer texts as they were "at dinner" until later. We ended up having to stay at a hotel first night as it was 78 degrees when we left at 10 pm. The next day around lunch time I got a text saying it was working and there never was an issue "magically". I have pictures of the thermostat at 10 pm. It did work the rest of the trip.I also let the owner know they had a major ant infestation. I have pictures and videos. It was the most disgusting house we have ever seen. Ants in our beds. Crawling on our toiletries and in our clothes. Hundreds of them. All I asked for was a discount on the first night since I had to pay for a hotel (not a whole nights cost just a discount) and i was told no and everything was fine and they accommodated us by letting me come in a day early (which i paid full cost for).

I am very sorry that you had a bad experience. The thermostat was set at 75° when you arrived, a temperature we have found to be a nice midpoint between those who like it slightly warmer or cooler than others. The fact that it may have taken a little longer than usual to get the temperature down was due to your arriving during an unprecedented heat wave in Oxford with temperatures exceeding 100° every day for more than 30 days. Within a few hours, the temperature was 68°, and it stayed that way the entire weekend. If we had known you preferred it cooler, we would have been very happy to reset the thermostat accordingly prior to your arrival.  You make a fair point about the ants, which we have been told was another unfortunate byproduct of our heatwave. We discovered them a few hours before your arrival and hurried to the hardware store to get traps. Unfortunately, those take a while to remedy the problem and for that we apologize. While this was not a pleasant experience for either of us, we do appreciate the feedback and have taken steps to address the concerns you raised. Thanks.

Ward was a great host with very engaging communication throughout the process. The home is outstanding with marvelous appointments which made our stay quite enjoyable. It’s a pleasant walk to the Square and easy to get to. Ward and his team provided some very nice touches throughout our stay which made everything comfortable for us. We came to town for a football game but were able to enjoy much more, thank you!

Parents weekend and football game

We stayed at the cottage with another couple and everything was perfect! We were able to walk everywhere - the grove, stadium, and the square. Ward is a great host, and very responsive to any questions. The kitchenette has the basics, and they even had a breakfast casserole for us so that we didn't have to go to the store to pick up breakfast. Will definitely stay there again!

Ours is the most desirable neighborhood in Oxford. We're around the corner from William Faulkner's historic estate, Rowan Oak, and walkable to the Square and the Ole Miss campus. You can enjoy the excitement Ole Miss and Oxford have to offer and return to a beautiful retreat on a secluded street in the historic district.
