This 5 bedroom + bunk room home has been completely renovated, to create a bright, sunny, soothing retreat for your family. Equipped with a gourmet kitchen, art studio, pool table room, screened-in porch, ping pong table, wide pier, new salt water pool with a sun ledge, spa bathrooms with waterfall showers & soaking tubs, a large sauna, and amazing views from every room.
Besides the unique high elevation with amazing westerly sunset views, one of our favorite things about this property is its location. You really won't want to leave. However, even though you are surrounded by nature you are only minutes from the wonderful restaurants, shops & amenities of Easton. You may decide to bring your boat or rent one & can be in the St. Micheal's harbor in less than 20 minutes from our pier. The towns of Oxford & Cambridge are a quick drive away as well. We are convenient to BWI & Ocean City Md.
Besides the beautifully tiled bathrooms, every other room has random width white oak floors. The bedrooms all have new, high-end mattresses. There are two king beds, 3 queen beds, and 6 full beds so you will have plenty of space, choices & room to sleep comfortably. The sauna has a hall access for all to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped with brand new Jenn-air appliances. We hope you enjoy all the fun details of this house such as the waterfall sink, soaking tubs, the restoration hardware furnishings, beautiful pool table, unique lighting, as well as the soothing color scheme. This house was designed & rebuilt to bring the family together & offer creative, fun activities that will give every person something to do.
The brand new pebble surface pool has a sun ledge with an umbrella where you can sit & enjoy the river views or just watch the kids play volleyball in the shallow end. There is a ping-pong table, pool table, tree swing, kayaks, canoe, stand up paddleboard, crab traps, pier, chess table, large screened porch, custom built bed swing, outdoor shower, fireplace & large round game table.
We are sure that you will find some way to play, relax, enjoy your loved ones, & refresh here at Sunset Landing.

Wonderful Stay

We just left a week stay at Sunset Landing. The home, property and pool were all beautiful. We had 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty for all to enjoy. The home came up with stand up paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy out on the water. The pool with a splash pad landing was perfect for the kids and adults. Many nights were enjoyed on the screened in porch with swing couch. And the interior of the house and rooms were all clean and very well laid out. Highly recommend a stay here!

Sunset Landing Ladies Weekend

6 women for the 6 bedroom home. The house was great for our weekend. The only complaint was that the weather did not allow for more outdoor activities, though we had plenty of space inside to enjoy ourselves. The house has all the amenities and more.

Beautiful

This was a great stay on a beautiful location! The rooms were comfortable and the common living space had amazing river views with large glass sliding doors. Kitchen had basically everything you could need.

Lovely property

The amenities of the house were fantastic. The screened in porch was perfect for rainy days and the pool was awesome. Prime location as only 10 minutes from Easton and 20 minutes from St. Michael’s. We hope to rent this property again.

Eastern shore vacation.

Great house/property. Everything worked and was as described. Large rooms, nice pool, close to river. Quiet! Plenty of wildlife including bald eagles, osprey, herons.

7 College Roommates from Class of 1970 enjoy this beautiful home as another yearly get together.

I'm not sure what we liked the best - indoors or outdoors! The pool was lovely as was the private dock and glorious views. The inside was so roomy from the first floor to the second! This is a lovely property - enjoy!!

Great family weekend

We had a great time with our kids and their partners at Sunset Landing. House was beautiful, so many amenities and we took advantage of as many as we could. Weather was a little cool for the outdoor fun but we have nothing but good things to say abut the weekend and look forward to returning one day.

Lovely waterfront home

Everything about this property was beautiful: the view, the salt water pool, the deck, the furnishings…etc. Eight women stayed here for a long weekend to get some much needed R&R, and we were not disappointed. The house and grounds were even better than the pictures. And Bill, the property manager, was very accommodating and responsive. We loved our stay at Sunset Landing, and we can’t wait to come back next year!

Relax and enjoy!

Wow! This rental exceeded our expectations. Secluded location yet minutes from stores for any needs. Kids loved the pool, kayaking, canoeing, fishing from the dock (catch and release!) Loved early mornings sitting on the dock watching the birds and spectacular sunsets in the evenings. All in all, one of our best and most relaxing vacations!

Great house. Great location.

The house was the perfect size for my extended family get together. The river views were amazing. The saltwater pool was perfect. Less than perfect were the construction noises from the house being built next door. While the noise was not deafening it definitely put a huge dent in what could have been a tranquil setting. I feel as though I should have been advised about the construction while I still had the option to cancel with a partial refund or should have been refunded some money considering the circumstances. I also had to manage the gutter repair people who I was advised were coming on a certain day. When they arrived they had no idea what they were supposed to be working on. So I had to get in touch with property manager etc.

A Weekend to Remember

This property is perfect for a family gathering! We were celebrating a milestone birthday, and my husband and I stayed for four nights with our grown children, their spouses/significants, and our grandson. The house is just spectacular! The whole first floor is open, enabling whoever is in the kitchen to be together with those playing pool and those relaxing on the giant sectional. There are several sets of sliding glass doors on the water side, so you can enjoy the water while eating, and the sunset while relaxing on the deck. The pool is large and fenced, and perfect for relaxing, reading or cocktails at the umbrella table. The bedrooms are large and well-appointed, as are the multiple bathrooms. The house decor is subtly elegant, complimented by the owner/ artist's beautiful work. We rented a boat and could dock right at the house. We did go to St. Michaels and particularly to Easton for the Out of the Fire pizza and mussels, but for the most part, we stayed at the house, enjoying it and each other's company. As you can tell, we had a wonderful experience, and would not hesitate to return to this special place.

Another fantastic stay! Everything about the house in comfortable, plenty of seating, places to eat, areas within the house to talk, play games, etc.. The kitchen has what you need to cook a meal or bring in some crabs and eat them on the screened-in porch. Every bed is comfortable. The view is perfect and we were fortunate to have some hot September weather and take advantage of the pool. Just a short drive to Easton and St Michael, but remote enough to feel like you are really getting away from it all! The hosts couldn't be easier to work with. We can't wait for another stay!

What a beautiful property this is! Loved the sereneness of the area combined with easy access into Easton for food and shops. The house was big, bright, and open. Plenty of room for the nine of us, with even a bedroom to spare. The bathrooms were huge, very clean. We utilized the dock every day, used the kayaks and enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table as well. The neighbors in the area were very welcoming and friendly, stopping to ask about us when we ran into them on our walks. Michelle was there when some of us arrived and was a very pleasant lady. She does a great job with her home! We would highly recommend this rental to anyone interested in visiting Talbot County. There is much to explore in the area and it's a unique area compared to our average beach and lake trips. A lot of birdlife, it's very entertaining. Thanks for everything Paul and Michelle!

Fabulous weekend

Our weekend was shared with long time friends and we were not disappointmed. The house was amazing and the pictures online were accurate. We drove to nearby St. Michaels for the day and it was wonderful. We will definitely be back in the warm weather so we can use the pool.

While dating, Michelle & Paul would spend many weekends at Michelle's grandparents house enjoying crabbing, swimming, boating, and especially the family time of laughter, home-made crab soup & freshly steamed crabs. Coming to the Eastern shore was always like going back in time & still is today. The adorable small towns & slower pace of life help you to slow down & to enjoy nature and the people around you. They feel so blessed to now have a waterfront home to share with family & friends as well as offer their children a place to reconnect, renew and make lasting memories of their own.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property for so many reasons! the most important being its location. We loved the water first of all. It is such a safe, beautiful, protected & quiet part of the river. Yet, you can get into St. Micheals harbor by boat in just minutes. The Western exposure & high altitude keeps it bright & sunny with amazing views every season of the year. We also love the convenience into Easton & it is so close to Kent Island, Oxford, Easton, Cambridge, St. Micheals & the beach.

What makes this property unique

A unique thing about this home is it's beautiful westerly views from such a nice elevation & the fact that is is completely renovated especially for vacation rental & family gatherings.
