Cozy uptown studio on Audubon Park

This studio unit, located at the back of a property on Audubon Park, was comfortable, safe, and cozy. Hosts were very attentive and helpful. We would definitely return!

Lovely home and location but..

We loved the small separate home behind a lovely home on Audubon Park. The family in the main home was very nice and the property was neat, clean, and perfect for a couple that wants to stay near the park. It has a separate entrance and appears to offer some nice privacy. Our only complaint, and it is not a small one for some people, is that the home is in their backyard next to the kids playground and their dog is in the yard (a very sweet dog). Of the 3 days we stayed here, 1 day we were woken up by the kids playing in the yard, right outside of the apartment prior to 8 am. On another day, one of the kids tried to enter our apartment while we were in there. That occurred on 2 separate occasions. The family was very nice but the kids didn’t have established boundaries. Another morning we were woken up as we could hear the family in their kitchen putting away or washing dishes. It’s not that they were exceptionally loud but the sound just really seemed to carry into the apartment. We could hear a kid crying for their Mom from inside the house in the afternoon on Sunday. These are things that I normally don’t think we would have been able to hear but the arrangement of the hallway from the back door of the house goes directly towards the front door of the apartment. As I stated, fantastic location, lovely house and family but we just felt a little too close to their personal lives and activities due to the sound carrying into the rental.
