Quiet and safe Uptown house steps from Audubon Zoo and shopping on Magazine

This house is located in a very quiet and safe historic neighborhood right near Audubon Park. It's also one of the most gorgeous residential neighborhoods in the city. It's perfect for families or small groups looking to relax and explore the city. The house is not baby proofed, but children and well behaved adult pets are welcome.

The location of the house is unmatched! Everything you need is within a few blocks.
It's easy walking distance to window shopping on Magazine St, James Beard award winning restaurants, several comfy neighborhood bars, the award winning Audubon Zoo, Audubon Golf Course, Audubon Park, coffee shops, a yoga and pilates studio, a spa, Wholefoods, Walgreens, ice cream shops, and an upscale wine store.

It's a 10 minute drive to the French Quarter, Mid City, Lower Garden District, and Central Business neighborhoods. Or just walk a few blocks up to St. Charles Ave and catch the streetcar towards downtown.

There are new countertops and appliances in the kitchen, a private washer and dryer, and central AC/heat. There is a TV in the living room and master bedroom, both with Netflix. 2 off street parking spaces are available for small vehicles. A big vehicle will take up both spaces, but there is usually plenty of street parking available as well. The lush front yard is securely fenced in and set far back from the street.

This is *not* the place for your bachelor party or a place to get rowdy. Please only book if you know how to respect a house and neighbors as if they were your own.

Other things to note:
-Quiet hours after 11pm - The owner lives on the property in the rear apartment.
-Parties and events are strictly prohibited(And also illegal at rentals in Orleans Parish).
-No smoking(anything) inside. Feel free to smoke on the front porch, but please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
-For security of the property and my guest's safety, there is an external camera overlooking the front yard and driveway.
-I don't bother my guests. Your privacy is important to me. Although I'm happy to chat or give suggestions. If you need anything at all, I'm always happy to help.
