Very spacious and perfect for our family. Kitchen is well supplied, backyard oasis charming. Located just far enough away from the noise but convenient to be anywhere in short drive. Dawn is an excellent host! Would highky recommend for your NOLA stay
Dawn's place was perfect. She was very friendly and available for questions if needed (we didn't). We were very comfortable. I appreciated the large kitchen, laundry facilities, the excellent iron, the picturesque backyard area, comfortable beds and plentiful bath linens, games and books to read. The house was in a quiet neighborhood centrally located for everything we needed. We also appreciated the generous checkout time.I would definitely book again!
The property was ideal for our group. Dawn was there upon check in and ensured we could get in and settle in properly. The location was perfect for quick travel to all points within and around New Orleans.
Comfortable, clean and located in a quiet neighborhood but not far from all New Orleans has to offer. Great communication and smooth check-in and check-out.
The picture of the house shows a lovely balcony that belongs to the upstairs duplex, which was not clear. Enjoyed our stay, Dawn was very helpful, and we would consider staying here again.
Had a very nice stay at Dawn’s house. She is an excellent host, very easy to reach and helpful. The house had everything we needed - plenty of towels, extra sheets, stocked kitchen. Great layout and plenty of space. We came for jazz fest so it was a pretty central location for both the fairgrounds and the quarter.
The location was good, close to everything. It was clean a lot of amenities available even though we were out of the house quite a bit. The air conditioning didn’t really seem to cool the space. good communication with host.

Awesome amazing trip
Gino was awesome.
Some of the best things were there was 8 women and we always had hot water, the grill out back was awesome and clean, we all felt safe and secure, air conditioning was great after walking 10 miles a day when we would come back home it was nice and cold, there was plenty of room, easy access to town, back yard was great, Gino answered any questions we had and was very helpful on things to do and see.
We will Definitely stay here again.
Dawn’s place was perfect for our group of friends and family who were in town for Jazz Fest. The house had everything we needed to cook, relax and catch up with each other. We even did a puzzle all together! Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless and everything worked, lots of good quality towels. Dawn came to say hi and change a lightbulb in the fridge and communication was perfect. Beds and sofa were very comfortable. All in all a great stay, thank you Dawn!

Amazing Listing!
My stay at this listing was awesome! It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood very close to downtown and the French Quarter. We Ubered everywhere and it was only a 15 minute ride. Dawn and Gino were very pleasant host(ess) and very helpful. The house looks exactly as pictured in the photos. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting New Orleans- especially with a big group.
Met elderly in laws in New Orleans (instead of winter in Montana) for post Xmas vacation. We are 4 adults (2 are college students). Dawn’s place was great - clean and well provisioned with plenty of linens, easily accessible, comfortable beds, good laundry options, adequately equipped kitchen and enough room for 6 to share breakfast and hangout in the evening. Smart TV had latest services and apps. Wifi was strong and fast. Off street parking spot was nice but proved not necessary. Neighborhood was safe, quiet, with friendly neighbors and cute pets. Location was central to most of New Orleans areas and activities - usually a 10-20 min drive. We would rent Dawn's place again for our next visit to New Orleans.
This home is close to everything we wanted to get to. It was roomy and clean. The hostess is AMAZING! We only had 1 small issue (clogged toilet)while there and she addressed it within an hour ish. And, if someone prior had not helped themselves to the plunger, we would have had zero issues! If we ever get to come back to NOLA I will definitely look to stay here again! Thank you, Dawn!
We had 7 adults in the house and it never felt crowded. It was really hot outside, but the house stayed a nice tempeeature! Kitchen was perfect for cooking big meals. Water pressure was amazing! We used the laundry; machines worked great. The only issue we had was the queen-size bed was so squeaky it was hard to sleep, but the other beds were great.
We used Uber a lot and the address is really easy to find. Overall, we had a great stay in NOLA.
This property is in perfect proximity of all the places you might want visit in NOLA. Very quiet neighborhood. Dawn is so nice, and has made the rental a nice get away. Thank You Dawn
We absolutely adored the place! It was located in a perfect spot where everything was under 20 minutes to get to. The neighborhood was super cute and quiet we came down to spend time with friends and relax so it was lovely. Dawn was an awesome host! Easy communication and everything was super clear, the house itself is super cute and had the perfect amount of space for our group. Definitely would stay again ☺️
Dawn is a perfect host. She had everything ready and was very communicative. The house itself was perfect for our group of friends. I Highly recommend staying here.
My senior parents and I were in town to visit family and this rental had it all. So well-equipped and comfortable, we would definitely stay here again. Was so pleased with the entire experience and Dawn was absolutely fantastic and communicative. We enjoyed the quiet street that was close to everywhere we wanted to be. This rental was a home run for us!
Six friends and I stayed at Dawn's Elba Street house and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The house is spacious and airy, and we found it in impeccably clean condition. There was plenty of space for everyone, including the very green and pleasant backyard where we loved the bird song and the balmy evenings under a big tree.
We utilized the large, well-supplied kitchen and the great dining room which became as much of a hanging-out spot as the living room -- which features the most comfortable leather couch in the history of the world! Everyone had their space and we even had beds to spare, with the three twin futon cots that are on hand.
Dawn is a terrific host, extremely responsive and helpful, and a very capable and intelligent person. She made us feel very much at home and was glad to offer suggestions or info as we needed. We loved staying in her handsome house and came to really like the friendly, safe-feeling neighborhood, too. We want to stay with her again, no question!
Dawn lives above the rental and had all of the necessary supplies for our stay. She even allowed me to come in at noon when i got in on an earlier flight.
Dawn was great, very attentive and quick to communicate. This location is within reasonable distance to bourbon street and many great restaurants, I highly recommend booking here. I had a great stay in New Orleans!

About the host
Hosted by Dawn
Dawn, originally from New Orleans, returned home in 2007 after 11 years to finish her Master's Degree in Public Health. Gino fell in love with the city since they arrived, but sadly has passed away. Dawn continues to live and work in New Orleans and spends time with family and friends. When she is not working, she is finding outdoors activities to keep her mind and body fit.
Why they chose this property
This location in Broadmoor is a great example of a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in the very heart of the city. It is convenient to all parts of the city because of the location between several main thoroughfares. This is the kind of neighborhood where the kids play in the front yard and everyone is neighborly and nice.
If you want a place that you can relax between adventures, this is the place! The backyard is great. Wireless internet will keep you connected. The plush sofa is great for lounging. Dawn has ample ideas for off-the-beaten-path places to go!
What makes this property unique
The house was built in the 1930's in the typical townhome style of 20's and 30's Broodmoor. There are tons of windows allowing as much natural light as you desire. The house just feels fresh, open and welcoming.
