Christmas in New Orleans

Our family of 4 and 2 dogs had the best time. Cindy was a very helpful and lovely host! It was very comfortable and clean for all of us and we loved her quaint backyard. We only stayed 7 days and really wished we had stayed 10! I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Place in New Orleans

The property was spotless and very welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location couldn't have been better—just around the corner from Magazine Street, which offered great shopping and dining, and within walking distance to the trolley for easy access to all the best attractions. Cindy was a wonderful host, always attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The house is well appointed and very comfortable. It is very clean, has plenty of towels, and the owner was super friendly and welcomed our dog. The house is convenient to a number of restaurants, a grocery and the streetcar line.

Cindy’s place is great for that weekend getaway to the Big Easy. Just enough room to spread out with your family and pets. Wonderful fenced in back yard.

Perfect Homebase

We had a great time at Cindy’s home tucked in near Magazine St. The beds were comfortable, lots of seating for our group of 6, the kitchen well stocked and the backyard was a great oasis to spread out nd enjoy the weather. As a larger group we also appreciated the ample towels and storage available in the large main bathroom. Thank you for a great stay!

Authentic New Orleans experience

This house is awesome and reflects the character of the neighborhood and city. Beautifully appointed and wonderful original art work by the owner. The backyard is beautiful with lots of seating / conversation areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Home base in New Orleans

We loved our time at this house. It was a perfect fit for our needs as we came to New Orleans to drop our daughter off at college for the first time. The neighborhood is fantastic, walking distance to lots of things. We really enjoyed the space inside the house and also the back yard. We would definitely consider staying here again when we are in town.

Perfect Location

Wonderful home in perfect location. Enough space for 3 couples in town for Jazz Fest. Walking distance to Magazine St (shops and restaurants) and St. Charles. Home is clean, quiet and well appointed. AC worked well and the beds were very comfortable. Cindy was very responsive and helpful prior to our arrival. We did not have any problems during our stay. We would stay here again!

Enjoyable!

This location was located in the garden district which was accessible to everything by bus $3 tour bus or uber. You can drive as well and all with in 10-15 minutes. I enjoy going to Bourbon street and Canal street but dont like to stay in that area so this location is perfect for me and my Siblings/spouses. My family loved the beautiful area and the house was absolutely gorgeous. Mrs. Cindy is a lovely lady and she does everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I have stayed at her home twice now and will continue to book for her house everytime I want a taste of Orleans!

Love it, love it, love it!

This was our 2nd stay at this location. The space is great, plenty of room for us and our two little dogs. It's comfortable, clean, has space to work that is separate from space to hang out, nice big bath room, and cool artwork! Great outdoor space, very private. We had family come visit us and it was so nice. Great neighborhood. Walking distance to anything you need. So many restaurants just minutes away on Magazine St. We felt like locals! If you are looking for a different way to enjoy NOLA than the French Quarter, you can't go wrong here! We will definitely be back!

A wonderful relaxing home in a fantastic Uptown location

This property is so fantastic it’s hard to fully put it into words. The backyard alone is worth the price of admission. We spent hours relaxing and entertaining- eating crawfish, jambalaya and boudin and having cocktails. It’s hard to describe how incredible the backyard is given the fact this is a City house. The house itself is very comfortable. It has a nice downstairs kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms and living room/dining room upstairs tastefully decorated with the owner’s artwork. The upstairs bathroom is spacious with a large fun shower with a shower head coming out of the ceiling and a claw foot bathtub. The upstairs living area had a comfy couch and large flatscreen TV with streaming services included. Plenty of towels and supplies were available. The owner/property manager could not have been kinder or more helpful. She even made a special errand to get us more propane so we could grill outside. She made it very homey for us and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. It’s Uptown location is wonderful- only 2 blocks from Magazine street and yet in a quiet, relaxed area with plenty of street parking. The neighbors have pride of ownership and the neighborhood is friendly and safe. On the Sunday of our stay, there was a porch concert with local musicians playing Beatles songs including a string section. Audubon park and Tulane is a short 2 mile walk up Magazine and in between there and the house are tons of shops and great restaurants and breakfast spots. The WW2 museum is only 3.5 miles away down Magazine the other way. If you love to walk, Magazine St does not disappoint with so many things to look at and eat in either direction. If you prefer not to walk, Uber and Lyft easily access the house. I cannot recommend this property strongly enough. To feel at home and then easily wander into a busy city - and then return to peace and calm was a joy. The entire family enjoyed the house and we will be returning for sure.
