We had a great time. This place was exactly what we were looking for in a rental property. The kids loved swimming in the lake, kayaking and watching the lake from the deck.
When we arrived we tryed to find remote but never found it. She did bring us one the next day. Shower was so tiny.coffee pot didnt work. No air conditioning. Muddy driveway. And terrible mosquitoes. Very overpriced.

Upon arrival, the check in process was easy and the outside of the cottage was what was expected. Stepping into the cottage looked like the pictures posted online. However, what was left out was the fact there was no air conditioning. There were three fans spread about that moved some air. Michigan this time of year was unseasonably hot. All of the windows were open to let the air in, which helped a little bit, however with the windows being open, the wild life entered and by wild life I mean dinosaur sized mosquitoes that ate very well for the time we stayed. The dock that was on the property was not sturdy and on no way shape or form could a boat or jet ski be tied to it. The fire pit was covered in all of the things needed for a fire, but unfortunately too covered to get the actual pit. The area where the dock and fire pit are located are kind of in a swamp and I quicklyFound out that this spot is where the pterodactyl mosquitoes hail from. I could not sit outside by the water without getting completely annihilated by mosquitoes. The little beach that was there, the water was also unseasonably high this year, somehow had dog feces or some type of feces, not deer, I think the deer would be too scared to venture to where we were. Which my kids stepped in…not the end of the world, but the posting stated no pets…confusion was had by all. After the rain, the driveway turned into a swap that Shrek wouldn’t even love. We were also asked to water the geraniums…on vacation….
