Quaint And Cozy

We had a wonderful stay! The location is ten minutes up a windy road on the mountain, meaning there was no road noise and very little noise otherwise. Do be aware that there are dogs on the property. The cabin was a little dirty and full of bugs due to the hot weather, but after the first night we had killed most of the bugs, tidied up, and had a great time!

Needs some TLC

The general area needed to straightened up a bit. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Overall pretty good.

Great place for some off the grid time

Loved the property, enjoyed the time we stayed there. Love the old and rustic vibe of the place. Suggestion, love the place, but a little more maintenance and cleanliness would be a charm to the place. Overall great place. There was no wifi during our trip which was a bummer since there is literally no network. So if wifi also doesn’t work you are literally in the middle of the woods with no connection to outside world.

This cabin is a great little getaway. It is minutes away from the park. There is not a kitchen so be prepared to eat out.

Hidden little gem

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The mountain view from the bedroom was breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient—just a short drive to the Sequoia National Park entrance. The check-in process was seamless, and Renee, our host, was fantastic with her quick and clear communication. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Had a wonderful stay in the cozy cabin. Loved the little touches the host provided. Overall four bc the shower needs better water pressure. It was peaceful and definitely in the woods. Very close to the Foothill Entrance of the NP.

Privacy , studio type cabin

Quiet and comfortable . I brought my own cooking top for camping because it’s a kitchenette only … no cooking stove. It was fine 👍 My dog loved to watch the birds on the window. Star gazing at night in your own private backyard of the cabin was so relaxing.

Don't waste your money. We did and we had little to no water pressure to shower. We could not properly bathe. The amenities described were not there. No spa, no real kitchen, no washer, refrigerator set on high and still didn't keep cold Nowhere to unpack your clothing, poorly insulated with uneven AC cooling. Gates broken. Gave 2 star because cabin was cozy and there is a beautiful picture window, the king bed was comfortable. But, not enough to keep us in this poorly kept cabin. We were so dissappointed we cut our stay short. Reached out to host still no response after 3 days.

A place to lay your head

Would have been the perfect place to stay, but the pictures of the house did not represent what it looks like now. We did not have access to WiFi but wasn’t informed it had been out for a couple of months till we got there. The yard needed to be mowed and trees trimmed more away from the house. The house needed a little more cleaning inside and cobwebs removed, especially from the shower. It’s a super cute place, just needed a little more TLC.

Nice place off the beaten path

This was just fine for what we needed. The place is quaint and just what you need if you’re spending the day up in the park. Host was very friendly. The kitchenette area doesn’t have a sink or stove but we brought a cooler full of frozen food to warm up the first night. Very fun and charming place. Would do it again.

I'm from San Francisco and fell in love with this area at first sight and settled here after my husband died.
I love animals and have made my home a sanctuary for rescued dogs, horses and a cat.

Why they chose this property

This property is actually within the boundaries of Sequoia National Park and is home to many animals and birds such as bears, coyotes, deer, eagles, ravens, hawks, snakes, lizards, bobcats, mountain lions, foxes, squirrels, and may be seen on any given day around here. The views are exceptional of the snow-capped mountains in the winter, the wildflowers in the spring, and even the fall colors of the trees are pretty decent, too. One thing you'll have to get used to is how quiet it is. I love it!

What makes this property unique

This property is only 4 miles from Sequoia National Park which is handy during the summer months when the park is very busy. We are also on Mineral King Road which is on the way to the Mineral King area of Sequoia NP.
The cabin itself is very rustic, don't expect the Palais De Paris. (I've had it happen when a husband thought he would surprise his wife, a new mother, dressed in conservative designer duds, heels, and a disappointed face. It was the middle of summer, hot and dusty, and coyotes howled pretty close by. I truly felt for her. She was on the verge of tears, and her 6-week-old infant was screaming at the top of his little lungs. That's when I suggested to Dad that if he wanted to save his marriage he better say his prayers and fly her to Las Vegas far away from my cute little cabin in the middle of this wonderful wilderness.)
