About the host
Hosted by Charlotte Mapes

We love to travel and stay active. We split our time between North Carolina and Florida and often find ourselves venturing north and or west to visit with family.
Why they chose this property
As outdoor enthusiasts we found ourselves visiting the Brevard, NC area a few times a year, taking full advantage of the amazing nearby state and national forests. We love the mountain biking out of DuPont and the hikes and rivers out in Pisgah. After a good day of adventuring we love to refresh and refill at the many breweries in the area. We finally decided to buy a fixer-upper last year and have been working non-stop to get it ready for hosting memorable gatherings or getaways.
What makes this property unique
Our area has so much amazing outdoor space to hang out in. The the expansive back deck and screened in porch feel like they double the living space. The onsite trails through the 10 acres and the fire pit provide outdoor exploration vibes, right out the front door.
