This property was clean and the location was perfect, just steps from downtown Galena. It's a bit small, but we knew that when we rented it and it was great for a few nights. There was enough to do in Galena that we were only in the room to sleep. We would stay here again!

My spouse and I stayed at Michael's place for a recent weekend trip to Galena. Communication with Michael was timely and clear. The apartment was cute and close to downtown. It's a small space (accurate as advertised), so just be prepared for that!

Perfect Location!

The location was amazing in the heart of downtown Galena. Walkable to shops, restaurants, museums and historical sites. The studio apartment was very clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The host really thought of everything small fridge with freezer, microwave, dinnerware and silverware, nice towels and bedding. There is a walk-in closet so luggage does not crowd the room. We visited the last weekend of April for our anniversary and to see a civil war reenactment. We had a great time and would recommend Balandine Suites.

Great stay walking distance to so much

The apartment is amazing. It was perfect for me and my husband. The apartment was clean and well appointed. It was also an easy walk to historic downtown and shopping. If you don’t mind walking, you can also easily walk to grant park, grant house, and up the hill to view historic buildings. The host was communicative and quick to respond to our questions. I would highly recommend!
