Welcome to Rich’s Beach Bungalow, a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home located right on the boardwalk in Mission Beach!
Some neighborhoods are just special, and this is one of them. Step out onto your private rooftop balcony and enjoy sunsets, the sound of the waves, and the fresh ocean air. This second-floor condo is part of an eight-unit complex, just two blocks north of Belmont Park, and includes a private rooftop deck with BBQ and seating—perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun.
Just walk down the stairs and across the boardwalk, and your toes are in the sand! Watch all the activity on the boardwalk or join in yourself. The open California-style kitchen is fully equipped for dining at home.
Sleeping accommodations include:
* Master Bedroom: Queen bed with a view
* Second Bedroom: Two twin beds
* Living Room: Queen sofa sleeper
The bathroom features a shower/tub combo.
Beach accessories are included: 2 beach cruiser bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler.
Air conditioning is available for an additional fee; please contact us to reserve.
Guests have access to the private rooftop deck, BBQ and seating.

Arrival & Departure
* Check-in: 3 pm (4 pm Memorial Day–Labor Day)
* Check-out: 11 am
Check-in instructions are emailed after rental agreement completion and identity verification. Signage throughout the home helps guide use of amenities, and we are available after hours for emergencies.
Minimum Stay Policies
* Off-season: 4-night minimum
* Peak Summer (June–Aug): 6-night minimum + Saturday check-in
* Friday/Sunday arrivals may be possible—please inquire
Holiday 2025:
6-night minimum + Saturday check-in (Dec 20–Jan 3). No arrivals/departures Dec 25 or Jan 1. Stays cannot span both holidays unless 2 weeks.
Summer 2026:
Memorial Day–Labor Day = Saturday–Saturday stays (6–7 nights).
No arrivals/departures July 4.
Friday/Sunday arrivals may be possible—ask us.
Policies
* Pets: Not permitted
* Rates fluctuate daily
* Primary renter must be 25+
* Noise-sensitive property: no outdoor noise after 9pm
* No parties or large gatherings
* Non-smoking property
* Décor/furniture may differ slightly from photos (no refunds for minor changes)
After Booking
Rental agreement and identity verification through Autohost are required (includes temporary $2 authorization that automatically drops off). A guest services agent will contact you within 24 hours of booking.
We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you`re planning to stay put in Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! Just ride our provided bikes or walk the neighborhood.
