It was very clean and inviting. The ocean breeze upstairs is to die for.Everything I needed was on property.Parking was challenging. A very narrow spot. I'm glad that I had a compact car.I look forward to returning to the property in the future.If you love the beach and don't have a car it is also an excellent choice with shopping and restaurants in walking distance.

This place had everything we needed for the 2 of us.I was a little a father from the beach than posted. However we are able to walk to the beach every day. The beach items were very convenient also.Thank you!

We enjoyed the location and the parking area off the street. We walked to great restaurants for breakfast and supper and also to the beach. The neighborhood was great, quiet and perfect for our stay.

Riviera Village/ Beach Stay

We had an amazing experience at this property. It was impeccably clean and appointed. Super close to all the attractions and the beach. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The decor was beautiful, the ocean breeze perfect, and a couch so comfortable we didn’t want to move. There was a surprising glimpse of the ocean we didn’t expect. The surrounding neighbors were friendly and engaging. Food and entertainment were beyond amazing. Wonderful communication with the owner and the entire process was easy and enjoyable. HIGHLY recommend. We will be back for sure.

This property is a great find in a highly sought out area.. It is steps away from excellent dining and shopping in the riviera through a back gate and you can walk to,the strand and down to the beach. You do not have to worry about finding a parking space, which is at a premium in this location. The space you have is quite small, do not bring a large vehicle. Bonuses are being able to have breakfast or just a cup of coffee on your balcony , enjoying the sounds of the ocean , AWA viewing sunsets, air conditioning, if it is too warm outside, beach equipment that you do not have to bring, an outdoor shower to rinse off afterwards, and a very relaxing atmosphere. There is some noise at night, but not when you need to sleep, the bed is excellent, the bathroom is clean and you do not have to fight the shower for water , and the sweet wheat French bakery, walking distance on PCH. Cons are a drip coffee maker consider BYO coffee if you do not use a French press or drip, and if it is important to you,wonky energy, saving full size refrigerator, but your food will be OK and a pay washer dryer on the property so bring your coinage.It is an excellent find , considering the price and prime location. I lived previously in nearby P V and recognize the value of this property. You will not be disappointed. It is a short drive to the PV Peninsula, country store Yum and where you can view Catalina Island at the lighthouse nature trail and ocean cliffs, we certainly did. ENJOY

Perfection!

We LOVED our stay here. The place was perfect. Very clean and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic and we were able to walk to the beach and to restaurants. The host was great as well.

Wonderful location in walking distance to the beach and everything else you need. Great communication with manager. Property was well stocked as was the shed with so many beach needs. Just show up and enjoy!!

LOVE THE SO CLOSE ACCESS TO THE REDONDO BEACH ESPLANADE!!

This lovely photo above portrays exactly what you'll see inside. For my husband & I, it was just what we needed! And it is everything + more. A lot of extra details that add up quickly for a relaxing, peaceful, quiet stay. We will be back!

The place was perfect for what we needed. Close to the beach and restaurants. Cute place and had what we needed. Couple things we had issues with. It was very hard to get responses from the host. We got details to enter property past the check in time and that was with reminders. Also there was an ant issue in the kitchen. Do not leave food of any kind on counters. Last the coffee grinder did not work. Other then that, apartment was great. Thanks!

Poor Timing

The unit was as described and generally good. The problem we had was that the heater did not work correctly and the back up space heater did not work. One attempt was made to fix the heater but needed a part. A back up space heater was provided after a day. Would probably not be a problem but when we were there the temp was in the 40’s and 50’s. The poor timing and follow up made it a poor experience.

First: I'd like to see the person who could make it to the beach in 100 steps from the front door! There were15 steps to the staircase, then down 16 stairs, and then a block and a half to the ramp to the beach! Second: The picture in the ad was of the FRONT duplex! The apartment we were given was behind the duplex, and over the garages that belonged to someone else. (We were required to park with the passenger side of our car up against a wall next to the garages. My husband had to move the car before I could get in or out.)Third: The kitchen had ants. We discovered them the first day. We found ant traps under the sink, so this was not a new problem. You couldn't leave anything out on a countertop.I believed I had booked a cozy place right across from the beach. If I stood on my toes, and looked out the upper right corner of the bedroom window, I could make out a small rectangular ocean view. The ad was absolutely misleading. Since I was on crutches and in a walking boot, I would never have booked this property had I known it required steps to a 2nd-floor entry. Aside from the ants, the interior was clean and adequate. That's why I allowed 2 stars instead of one.

The location was great, Very close to beach and restaurants and shopping. We did not need a car and we had storage with beach chairs and towels which was a plus. Also close to grocery stores, Trader Joe's. Parking spot if needed at apartment.
