Great property and location

This made for a relaxing stay for the whole family and we would definitely recommend it to others! The property was fully stocked with amenities, clean and tidy, and had room for everyone to spread out. It was also a good location for exploring the surrounding area, including Wasatch State Park, the Homestead Crater, and the Olympic Park in Park City.

Winter Haven

This is a great mountain home to stay at in the winter if you like to snowmobile or cross country ski. Town of Midway is very charming and has some really good dining options.

Relaxing get away

Nice cabin. Plenty of places to sleep. Bathroom a little bit small, just as advertised, but work out fine. Relaxed on porch in the morning, listening to the creek over the hill. Enjoyed our stay

Fun family getaway

The cabin had plenty of room for our family of 7 adults and 5 kids. It was in a nice quiet area surrounded by trees. We enjoyed the Nintendo and play area for the kids. We used the grill on the deck for some of our meals and it worked great. It was close to Wasatch State Park where we did some hiking. Owners were very helpful in answering questions. We would recommend it.

Great Cabin for the price

Janet and Greg were very gracious to work with. The cabin was clean and spacious for our family of 8. It was convenient having so many ready available items for use in the kitchen. The heater worked fabulous. Janet and Greg have thought of many small details to make your stay comfortable and functional. We would rent this cabin again.

Perfect for what we were looking for!

A wonderful and cozy cabin that was perfectly tucked away from town. We loved our stay here!! A short drive to the crater, which we loved. And a short drive to dinner at Daniel's Summit, which we loved. The kitchen suited our needs perfectly, but with a group any larger than ours (6 adults & a 17-yr old), space at the table would be an issue. The host was very pleasant, kind, and accommodating. Bedrooms: perfect for our family; everyone had a decent area of privacy, and that was very nice with grown children Heat/Temperature: We would have loved to been able to use the wood stove. It was quite difficult to regulate a comfortable temperature throughout the cabin (very cold areas and over-toasty areas; take slippers). Bathrooms: definitely tiny but totally met our needs. Parking & Maneuvering in/out of driveway: probably no problem in the summer, but tricky for full sized trucks in the winter with the amount of snow we had (due to lost space on the sides and perimeter of the road and driveway); the driveway was plowed, but we had to walk through 14-18" snow to the door to get a snow-shovel, then shovel our way in from the driveway. We liked it enough to stay here again, and would be more prepared for the intricacies of winter. We would also totally recommend this place to family and friends! Thank you Greg & Janet!

Great Location but not a good experience

Great scenery and we loved being in the mountains and close to places to go during our stay. However, we did not enjoy our experience at this property for a few reasons. One, there were dead bugs (black hornets or wasps and bumblebees) all over the carpet upstairs that we had to clean up as soon as we got there. We kept finding them either in the couch or on a few of the beds as we used them. It was not fun for myself and especially not my daughter who is terrified of hornets. Second, and most importantly, it was extremely hot. The main floor was fine, but even with the AC going all day, it was so hot upstairs that myself, my mother, and my kids had trouble falling asleep. I can fall asleep comfortably at 80 degrees and it was far above that in the evenings. There were holes in a few of the window screens so we couldn't open those up in the evenings to try to cool the space down or else bugs would get in. Any they definitely did when those windows were open. It didn't drop to a reasonable temp until around 12am both nights. We weren't expecting a perfectly air conditioned space in an older cabin, but we definitely didn't expect it to be as hot as it was. This made for a terrible night's sleep both nights for my kids who are used to traveling and sleeping in new places. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with kids.

Great location

This cabin is in a great spot for our weekend in Midway. Close enough to Heber for grabbing a quick bite to eat but far enough to get away and relax in the woods. The upstairs was perfect for the kids to go play while we relaxed and got in to a good book or movie. I bet summertime is even better in this canyon where you can enjoy the outdoors!

Clean and quiet!

This cabin was spacious, pretty and very clean. The deck and surrounding woods were so beautiful and very peaceful. Although it could sleep many people the small, centrally located bathrooms and only one shower might be awkward unless you’re with close family or friends.

Warm, Inviting Retreat

Remote enough to be quiet and relaxing, but close enough to everything we wanted to do! The kitchen and outdoor grill were perfect for food prep and cooking, and we enjoyed the option of eating outside on the deck. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Due to the elevation, the temperature in the cabin stayed perfect (the AC unit was hardly even necessary). We appreciated the toys and games that were available as well. Overall, a great property in a wonderful location!

Cute cabin-lots of space.

This was our first experience with VRBO. Very cute cabin with lots of space, nestled in beautiful mountains, but close to a town. It got really hot, wish that there was AC. Nice location with plenty of areas to explore and things to do. Bridal Veil Falls and Deer Creek Res. were beautiful as well as the quaint little towns.

Perfect little getaway

We had come to the cabin for a little family get together and had plans to spend most of the time outdoors. Weather didn’t agree and we spent majority of our time indoors, but the kids were occupied no problem thanks to the well thought out toys. Kids played happily upstairs while the adults were able to catch up downstairs. Didn’t feel like we were on top of each other at all.

Cozy place

It was in a beautiful location and is a cozy little Cabin. But it feels a little used and messy. Also, the water was turned off for several hours then when it came back on was full of dirt so had to go buy water bottles. And couldn’t get car back to the cabin as the road was dug up so we had to take several trips and carry all out bags and coolers down the road to the car to leave.

Greg and I are world travelers who live in South Jordan, Utah, with a second home near St. George which gives us a warmer spot to live in during parts of the winter. The cabin is our gathering place for our families summer activities. We enjoy staying there any time of the year. We love the quiet of the mountains there, hiking, water skiing with our grandchildren, and snow shoeing. We are always up for a new adventure and here in Utah with 5 National parks and hundreds of trails to explore there is never a down day.
