Mary Elizabeth’s house is charming and adorable, and so is she! We had an easy and comfortable stay at her unique and beautifully situated property. Communication was great start to finish. Hope to be back there someday!

This was the PERFECT place to rest and recoup! We had a lovely rainy weekend here and enjoyed every second. Mary was extremely kind and easy to communicate with. We even got to meet her dog and friendly neighbors! Could not recommend this stay enough. Planning to come back again!

My family stayed in this house while attending a wedding. The location was convenient for travel to various parts of Baltimore. The house was immaculately cleaned and included amenities such as fluffy towels and comfortable beds. If you are a senior citizen - just be aware that this older home has steps to the upstairs that could be a challenge! The host greets you when you arrive. She is quite lovely and interested in making your stay a positive experience. X

Mary was very sweet and friendly. There was a tornado warning during our stay, and she checked in with us to make sure we felt safe. The house was very clean and cute. It had a nice mixture of historic with modern appliances. Each room had it's own temperature control, and the beds were comfortable.

Nice quiet neighborhood, great place to walk the dogs. It was nice to have a place to stay that welcomed dogs. Bathroom had luxurious towels! Easy in and out to get to where we needed to be in Baltimore.

I can't say enough about the lovely village of Dickeyville and the "House on the Gywnns Falls". We LOVED walking from our the house down the quiet street and into miles of green space and trails. The village feels like an old English Village with stone and clapboard houses and and the sounds (and sights) of the waterfall. Mary lives in a cottage attached to the back hallway of the house, so if you need her she is there. She was helpful, thoughtful, and kind, but not intrusive. Great stay!

Highly recommend! You would never expect such beautiful scenery in the city. So much history surrounding the street and park. Mary was welcoming and really cares about the guest experience. The landscaping in the front is amazing and really adds to the privacy. We loved our stay!!

A lovely weekend getaway

Mary was an amazing host along with her dog Frankie who was a joy to get to meet! It was the perfect place to enjoy a cousin weekend vacation. I look forward to future visits as seeing how the gardens grow over time.

Short stay in Baltimore

Historically located older home with creaky wood floors with lots of windows, I felt like we never really had complete privacy. Beautiful plants surrounded the house and a walking trail and park down the street.

Sorry to hear this, Jackie. I did mention the shades in the LR could be closed but the other 2 that were already closed were stuck in that position. Thank you for bringing to my attention the bathroom shade that hadn’t been reinstalled. This was instrumental for making sure my next guests have privacy there. All in all, I hope you were at least comfortable and happy. Thanks again for alerting me to these shortcomings. Mary

Sweet house and dog friendly in the charming neighborhood of Dickeyville
