Gorgeous house, excellent service!

Yellow house at Sanctuary was a real pleasure to stay at. The house is beautifully set in the yellow fever trees near the lake, with zebras roaming the grounds. It is very comfortable, spacious, and well-supplied, and the Sanctuary staff made us all feel at home. We'll be back!

A wonderful retreat in the middle of nature

We had a wonderful stay at Yellow House on Sanctuary Farm, comfortable, well appointed and equiped for everything you need for a group stay. We enjoyed the big terrace and the fabulous view overlooking the farm. The house had drinking water, coffee, tea, sugar, and an incfedibly well equipped kitchen, with top notch appliances. The beds and linens were all very comfortable, and the hot water showers impeccable. Wifi worked well and there was a TV, although we didn't quite need either... We saw a lot of animals during the day and during the night game drive within the farm, well worth it! Looking forward to returning with other friends for a longer stay.

Amazing house with everything available. From comfy bed and nice bathroom to fully equipped kitchen and lounge seating area. Both families enjoyed staying in this comfy house. We all loved the lay out and the architecture of the house. Good view and lovely place to stay. Thank you

Yellow House

We had such an amazing stay at the yellow house. The property is beautiful and there is so much to do. We unfortunately didn’t have power for about half of our stay. I understand the loss of power was out of the control of the hosts, but at the rate a night we paid, they could easily add a small generator to the property. We lost meat, milk and other grocery items after the fridge quickly warmed when the power went out.

Yellow house stay August 2025

What a fantastic place! Such a great house, built in the old style with high ceiling, decorated with wooden beams, generous rooms well decorated , great interior design to the entire house, and at the same time very comfortable and modern. Attention to detail is superb, kitchen is well equipped to host a large group, fire place in the house is divine, and eating on the veranda while wild life is grazing on the lawn is out of this world. we love it and be back for sure.

Was a great stay,house in nice and practical,excellent game views... Vincent at the dairy was very friendly and accomodative..very informed on the dairy cows... Though was charged kshs 4000.00 for boatride while brochure in the house said kshs 3000.00

Feedback on Yellow House

Beautifully built property on Sanctuary Farm. Everything was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed access to wildlife at our doorstep. The only thing I would say needed improvement was the mattress on the baby cot and the showers in 2 of the bedrooms, which unfortunately were practically unusable as the shower heads were not working properly and virtually no water came directly down. Also, the temperature control on the shower could be improved to find a comfortable temperature that is not extremely hot or cold. The restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed the fresh food. If 'room service' could be an option (with an allocated vehicle for deliveries) I think this could significantly improve the experience. Thanks for hosting us! Will definitely reccommend!
