We would stay again when in the area.

The house was clean, bright, and spacious. It is laid out where we had areas were we could enjoy together as a family and separate areas we could retreat to if needed. We sat on the front porch and enjoyed the view of the lake and mountains.

Beautiful home in Landrum with fantastic lake view. Well appointed with upscale furnishings and comfortable beds and linens. Our family of four enjoyed our stay. hope to return soon.

Family Christmas

True to the pictures and description, this house was welcoming and spacious. The house was clean and well equipped with high end kitchen and bathrooms. There was plenty of room for our family of 3 and it worked so well for our extended family to visit. Loved this property and look forward to staying again.

Beautiful home with amazing views! Everything is set up perfectly for groups and marked for ease. Games, fire pit, lake front, morning jogs, latte on the patio, hosts who really care and communicate, the list goes on! Firefly Retreat MUST be on your list and I will absolutely be back. Amazing people who cared for me, and my family, during a very difficult time. 5 STARS isn't enough! Thank you :)

Mother’s Day Getaway on the lake

My family enjoyed spending Mother’s Day weekend at Firefly Retreat on Lake Lanier in South Carolina. We wondered around downtown Landrum one day and downtown Tryon the next. What cute little towns! We played on the lake with the paddleboard and kayak and had a little fire in the fire pit at the house. We think you’d enjoy this little getaway too. *Side note. Our trip was originally planned for October 2024 but Hurricane Helene hit just two weeks before our planned trip. The owners graciously agreed to let us reschedule to a later date and we are grateful.
