Adventures abound for those looking to explore the nearby La Sal mountains, or the desert regions of Canyonlands National Park or nearby Moab's many features. It is a night sky here with the unobstructed star gazing in a profoundly quiet and peaceful place.
Participate in events at the lodge, which also sits on the property or send yourself off into landscapes for quiet hiking, biking or road trips. If you are a boater, the Colorado River has easy access. There are several people who live and work at the Sanctuary who would be more than glad to help you find just what you need for your perfect stay.
