About this property

Located approximately 40 miles west of Fort Worth in scenic northwest Parker County. The guesthouse is a 600 square foot, one room offering comfortable accommodations for a single traveler or couple. There is a queen size bed with room for 1-2 twin size blow up mattress (provided) to accommodate up to two more guests. Families welcome. Please let us know if you will need the blow up mattresses.

There is satellite tv and a Roku. Wifi as well (35 download, 5 upload) The guest house has a full size kitchen with stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee pot and a filtered water system. There is a large bathroom with tiled standup shower. The guesthouse has a relaxing porch overlooking an in-ground 5 foot deep pool. All guests swim at their own risk.

For a relaxing night there is a fire pit, small charcoal and gas grill, and a serenity garden. Enjoy the great outdoors with nature trails, bird watching, and farm fresh eggs.

Located 12 miles from historic Weatherford which offers many restaurants and shopping. 45 miles from Texas motor speedway and 60 miles from Dfw airport.

Romantic Getaway

We did a simple overnight to get away from kids and work. It was perfect. Thanks for the homemade banana bread and coffee. Made for perfect morning.

They Saved Our Entire Trip!

The entire experience from beginning to end was exceptional. I had messed up the booking dates and my stay was paid for and passed up by the time it was realized. After contacting the hosts, they were able to help us out with no extra cost. We had my brother's wedding that week and it would have been a whole ordeal if they weren't so helpful. The home itself is very quaint and a nice escape from the busy city life. You will see lots of farm animals and whitetail deer on the journey from the highway. After arriving at the home, you will be welcomed by the curious dogs that are behind a fence. The guest house is very comfortable with room to walk your dogs before turning in for the night. The side road to the home is long and good for walking or jogging. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life for a moment.

Perfect weekend getaway

We drove in for the weekend to run a Spartan race in Granbury, about an hour away. We were pleasantly surprised by just how adorable this entire property was. From the tasteful decor and super comfortable bed to the thoughtful touches like bottles of water and homemade banana bread, this stay was a win! Wish it had been earlier in the year so we could have swam in the pool! Highly recommend and would stay again.
