This spacious and cozy farmhouse originally dated from 1910 is a wonderful place to spend a peaceful vacation in Fredericksburg, Texas! Situated on 6+ acres and surrounded by another 60 acres of pecan and peach orchards, it is a true 'country' retreat that is conveniently located just one mile from the Main Street shopping area.

The property has a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 baths for you and your guests to enjoy along with a great outdoor area including your private pond fully stocked with fish and ready for fishing (bring your poles)! Your kids will love the outdoor play set as well!
Sleeps 10 with party's over 10 an additional $50 per person per night for a maximum of 12. Pet fee is $100 for maximum of two pets per stay.

This house is perfect for a girl's weekend of shopping and fun, or a family retreat. Up to 10 people will be very comfortable and for an extra charge an additional two can use a pull-out couch, just let us know. You will not want to leave after relaxing here with and enjoying the wonderful things that Fredericksburg has to offer!

The property is gated and secure and has lots of space for walking, reading and just hanging out. A short walk on the other side of the adjacent property is a store and cooking school so check it out!

Great property for a family getaway (all adults) ... very near Fredericksburg and easy access to wineries, but far enough away to relax and avoid the crowds. Perfect for what we were looking for.

Great Girls’ Weekend

This was the perfect Octoberfest home base for our weekend. It’s super close to everything. The property is clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Birthday Surprise

I rented this place as a sixtieth birthday surprise for my partner. The entire property was absolutely perfect! There was a large fenced in yard for our dogs, a playground for our grandkids, and a beautiful pond to fish in! There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. We enjoyed watching the deer walk through the property, and we loved that there were chickens and a peacock! We will definitely be staying again!

perfect getaway

This house was above our expectations. Great experience for our kids. We enjoyed strolling in the attached peach farm, the large fire pit and boating&fishing in the pond (must release what you catch).

This property was the perfect place for myself and our friends. It’s so homey, the backyard was beautiful & the property owners were wonderful and always ready to answer my million questions! Wonderful place!

We had an amazing week at this charming farmhouse. We had a large family group and it was perfect for us. We loved having the swing set and crib for our daughter and even in August, it was so pleasant to have breakfast and dinner on the deck with the shade and peaceful view. Patricia went out of her way to make sure the property would work for our needs, and it did. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Wonderful stay in the "country"

Even though this cute farm house is in the city limits, you feel like you are in the country with the peach tree orchard next to the house and the pond in front. Beds were comfortable, house was cozy and clean. Only draw back was with our group of 9-10, we ran short of seating on the porch and in the small living room...over all, we had a wonderful stay.

Weekend away

We had a great stay at the farmhouse! It was very comfortable and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The house was very well appointed including a fenced yard and tennis balls for the pups. My toddler really enjoyed the chickens and peacocks and walking around the pond. Everyone liked sitting on the back porch. Proximity to town was very convenient but felt miles away from the crowds downtown. Would recommend, especially for big groups.

We were looking for a place to stay in Fredericksburg right after Christmas, and I was apprehensive that we wouldnt find a large place to accommodate 3 families. The Farmhouse retreat was large, very close to Main street, and had the amenities we were looking for! One area of improvement though - the internet connection could have been better.

Exceeding Expectations!

With four women in our 60's, we wanted the comfort of personal space and bathroom privacy. This property had everything we hoped for! Three very roomy bedrooms, and best of all, three full baths. All bathrooms were very updated; the master bath is palatial! Farm kitchen had everything we needed. Back porch was perfect for morning coffee on the swing with chickens cackling in the background. Clean, all the helpful information we needed, very wonderful indeed.

Perfect Setting in Fredericksburg!

Our family really enjoyed our celebration of Bebe's birthday. The adults loved the laid-back vibe and the kids loved the outdoors. We had fun sitting around the fire pit and toasting marshmellows. The deer roaming around were fun to watch. The kids enjoyed being chased by the roosters. The house was great and well supplied with everything we needed and more. The great part was the proximity to Fredericksburg for food and shopping. Luchenback was fun too. Would definitely do this again. Bill and Betty Sue

Relaxing, entertaining, and unique!

Me and my family stayed at this amazing property over memorial day weekend. The online pictures do not do it justice. This is such a lovely and unique property. It is spacious and has something for everyone to do. The guys enjoyed using the grill on the back porch daily.The children and the adults all enjoyed fishing in the pond outback. The water was so clear we could see the fish. My 5 year old loved playing on the playscape. There is plenty of room and space for everyone to be comfortable. The Sunday house outside the main house we also rented as well. It is just as adorable as it can be. This home is located a few blocks from Main Street but you would never know it because you feel like you are out in the country. But it is conveniently located to the shops and downtown area as well as Walmart and H-E-B. The owners of this property were so very kind. Pat was so accommodating and available to us if we needed anything. We left some items there accidentally and she kindly mailed them to us!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Fredericksburg.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed staying at the farmhouse and it was a pretty good fit for our family of 9. The Sunday House is a little misleading as the upstairs bedroom is completely separate from the downstairs bed and bath. It was little short on extra linens and sleeping pillows. The Property is lovely, but beware of the early morning wake up calls from the rooster and peacock.

Gorgeous Property

Property was beautiful and even prettier in person than in pictures. The only issue is that we were not able to use the sheets in both bedrooms because of mice droppings all through pillows and sheets. One bedroom was not even used at all because there was also blood on pillows. Was offered a free gift for this inconvenience and we appreciate it. Aside from this, the property was great and I would recommend.
