This mini Istrian Castle was reconstructed from the original 500 year old ruin of the small village in the forests of Croatian Istria. The property consists of a spacey living areas equipped with the traditional features with the industrial twist, en suite sleeping areas with a private shower and a toilette, and outdoor area with a huge garden and a swimming pool. Like all our properties, this location is a hidden gem it might be little bit hard to beat. But that is what makes it so special and unique. The house is based at the edge of the forest with no close neighbors.

Our location near points of interest like the old railroad "Paranzana" where you can take walks, the beautiful country roads for cycling, then, climbing, swimming and paragliding; you can easily keep active. Its proximity to the sea also gives guests a chance to easily enjoy the beauty of the blue Adriatic Sea only 20 minutes away by a car.

A magic house in the peaceful nature of Istria

I booked this beautifully restored house because it looked somewhat different than other nice places one could find in the area. From the first moment we've arrived and entered the house I was absolutely in love with the place. The owners mother, a very nice lady, showed us around and offered us a welcome drink served in her mothers old small glasses. When we were left alone I spent at least an hour moving from room to room admiring the details and the combination of old furniture, natural materials with a modern design. Every thing is so well thought trough. My favorite view among many is the one from the kitchen window to the garden. This house enables you to enjoy your holiday regardless of the weather being outside or indoors. The swimming pool is long and the view from the garden around it is phenomenal. We were staying there in the end of october so we used sauna and jacuzzi a lot. You can stay at the property for days without wanting to move or decide to visit nearby Grožnjan, vine cellars, restaurants, seaside,.. If you wish owners can provide you with bicycles so you can explore the little hills around you. The last day we stayed there we've had a barbecue and were quite sorry we had to leave. We have visited quite a few nice places but this one is on the top of my list where I wish to come back to in the future. I definitely recommend it. Helena

We have been in love with this magical place from it first time. It's magic has driven us all these years until the competition of this project. The place gives you feelings of beeing safe and belonging to that place.

What makes this property unique

Surrounded by nature, quiet environment, stunning view on valley Mirna with sunsets you can see sun touching the sea. Nice healthy environment with farms can be reached by foot to buy homemade vine and oil.. other activities and sightseeing accessible by tops 20 minutes car.
