The location of the property is great and very family friendly. It has plenty of room for everyone and has a variety of seating locations inside and out for cooking or relaxing.
Everything very nice! Yard was great…upstairs bedrooms were warm..hard to cool..we even closed attic door… downstairs bedroom shelves were loaded with knickknacks..and since there wasn’t much space to put things would’ve been nice to have shelves bare…

Thank you for your response. I always appreciate comments that may enhance my guests experience. Your visit was a hot week in August indeed.
I had the cooling system replaced with a new outside unit several years back.
The home being built in or around 1910 is not well insulted and yes the second floor occassionaly warms a bit. I have two large oscillating fans for the two bedrooms without a ceiling fan. This normally mitigates the warmer room temps. The air conditioner cold air does carry to the second floor so in most cases it is not too warm for my guests.
Regarding the storage I will be adding a self on the basement door platform should guests require storage for their cooking essentials.
Thank you kindly for your constructive comments which are always welcome.

Granddaughters were thrilled with picking their own rooms in the spacious upstairs. Bed downstairs was small for 2 elderly adults. All other accommodations were more than adequate. We spent most of our time visiting family at their tiny waterfront homes. This house was roomy in comparison. Timothy was quick to communicate with us and available if we had issues.
In town for family reunion. We had 2 houses, an older one on the lake and this one near coffee shop, we had the better accommodations other than access to
lake, but access to coffee shop and quaint house trumped the other house, great that we had both.
We had a really relaxing family vacation before our three kids head off to college. Timothy was very responsive and helpful. Trillium House is a lovely home that was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a few local beaches and a boat day on Devil’s Lake. It was a great vacation to slow down and reset as a family.
