About this property

White Oak Manor-Beautiful home, walk to Main St.

White Oak Manor

Fans of historic homes will love this beautifully restored grande dame offered as a vacation rental in downtown Waynesville. White Oak Manor, built in 1913, is aptly named for the stately white oak that shades the side deck and lower patio. Located steps from Main Street, guests are able to easily walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Once settled into the home, grab a cool beverage, head to the front porch or deck and enjoy the company of family and friends. For dinner, the gourmet kitchen provides ample space for the chefs in your party to get cookin.' The dining room easily seats 8, with room for a few more for special dinners or holiday meals. In addition to three bedrooms, the downstairs study is outfitted with a queen-size Murphy bed. Enjoy the room for reading or board games during the day and transition the space at night into a bedroom for those who require 1st-floor accommodations. Ample parking, streaming TVs in the living room and main upstairs bedroom, a lower yard with a fire pit, and a welcome pet policy round out the amenities.

beautifully cared for older house with kitchen and bathroom updates

plenty of room for all of us, any problem we had they were there the same day to make sure everything was fixed and working good. we only had a small problem. the only way to lock the house up was to go down the kitch stairs to lock the doors as we left. wouldnt have been a problem for a younger group. Our group was all ladies 65 to 81. So it was more an us problem than a house problem. LOL! we enjoyed the house and loved the kitchen.

Not meeting Vrbo Standards

Lack of detail cleaning such as kitchen oven, outside grill, outdoor furniture on porch and deck.Steps on entrance VERY treacherous. All beds uncomfortable. Traffic loud with homeless wandering. WE DESIRE SOME REIMBURSEMENT. Was not ready initially because of water problem--only 2 night reimbursement. Vrbo presentation is not accurate fir this property. Grew so weary we shortened our stay.
