5 firewood logs provided for every 2 night stay. Additional logs can be purchased for $1 each.

We Enjoyed the property very much. Nicely updated home with everything you need to enjoy the lake and the outdoors. Great dock fishing and fire pit with wood available on site.

Peaceful Stay on Pickerel Lake

The house was clean and well-appointed with plenty of items to use to enjoy the lake. We loved sitting by the fire pit and looking out over the lake and at the stars. Communication with the host was easy. We would stay there again when in the area!

Weekend Getaway

We loved the property! It is set up to be very comfortable for us as an adult group, but also for people traveling with children. The views and outdoor space were so relaxing. Large rainhead shower, and other amenities were well chosen with a variety of seating and lounging areas. We would definitely rent here again. BTW - saw a bald eagle circling the lake while sitting in the at the breakfast nook. Super cool

enjoyed our stay!

My family stayed at the cottage in early November during family weekend at Wesleyan University. While the cottage was a half hour drive to Middletown, it was worth it to have a nice spot to land. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to enjoy the lake but it was too chilly for that anyway! I can see that the best time would be during the warmer months but it was still lovely and peaceful and the house was well-equipped. All the instructions were clear and helpful. There are houses right next door on both sides so not much privacy. Also, note, only one shower (a very nice one!) but if you have a larger group, make sure you factor that in.
