Our family needed a quiet getaway and this was the perfect spot! We were able to relax, play, grill and have the best time! Looking forward to our next stay!
We came to get away from the business of life and this was the perfect spot. The property owner was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with cleanliness, but she was quick to remedy. Great for kids.
My husband and I stayed here after a very hectic family wedding in the city. It was the PERFECT respite! We visisted with my brother and his small family near by and their two small children had plenty of fun things to occupy them while the adults visited and relaxed. Our hoatess Lana saw to it the eveything was in working order and we are so grateful to have found such tranquil haven!a
10/10 Caught several cat fish and gar. We used the kayaks and the canoe. Cabin is close to the water, clean, quiet, and comfy. 15-20 minutes from a store or to the state park. I’ll be back!!
This is such a lovely cabin in the woods. If you are wanting to get away from it all, this is the place to go! The stock pool was so much fun for the kids and even my husband and I enjoyed soaking our feet. The scenery is absolutely lovely. The swing set was heavily used by my son who thought it was the coolest thing ever. We weren't able to get into the river, but that did not impact our stay at all. We fished, we explored, we played games and just got to spend time away from it all. Thank you again for a lovely stay!
We are the best time. The cabin was perfect for our needs and very clean! The kids wanted to go camping but we didn't want to quite do full camping. Lots of fishing by the river. Host had plenty of life jackets and the kayaks were so much fun. We'll definitely book again. Thanks!
Our family of 7 really enjoyed our time here. Since we were right on the river, they fished and used the kayaks for hours. They loved the treehouse, swingsets and archery too. We spent one afternoon in Graham, which was just 10 minutes away. It was such great family time!
The property is even more amazing than the pictures! My husband and I needed away from the city and we were rewarded with this charming quiet cabin! Clean and comfortable, everything we needed! I can't wait to stay again!

We had a fantastic time at this cabin! Went with friends, their 5-year-old, and our 14-month-old, and it was perfect for everyone. The kids loved the swing, and the cabin was cozy with enough room for all of us. The river right down the cabin was a beautiful touch, and the open area was great for exploring and playing. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! Host was great and was always accessible for communication.
This cabin was perfect for three adults - plenty of seating in the living room, two bedrooms with comfortable beds (queen size in one room, and a full bed plus 4 twin beds in upstairs bedroom), lots of space for things in the refrigerator. Tea kettle and coffee pot!
Loved spending time on the deck, relaxing, listening to the birds, watching the sunrise and sunsets from the deck as the Brazos River slowly drifted by. The reflections on the water were so beautiful - the sky, clouds, trees.... and the location was conveniently located for us to visit nearby Graham and Eliasville as well as South Bend.
We hope to return!
What a special cabin! As a family of 6, it can be a challenge to find a place that can accommodate all of us, but this place was perfect. I love the bunk bed situation upstairs. We could fit all the kids and their stuff without anyone having to sleep on the couch or floor. The hot water never ran out even with everyone showering, so I’m guessing it’s an inline unit. Genius. When we arrived the river was at high water so we were unable to kayak or fish, but possum kingdom is close and we brought our own kayaks and fishing gear, so we didn’t lose out on anything. The back patio was perfect to watch the flood recede. We say several snakes swimming in the river as well as a couple of gar and even a river otter (I swear it wasn’t a nutria!)My only comment to those who might stay here is that you might want to bring your own paper plates to avoid doing dishes after every meal because there is t a dishwasher.
