The house was extremely clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck with a fire in the fire pit. Very peaceful and relaxing! A lovely home-would definitely recommend!!
Everything was so well done the decorations, the comfort, the kitchen the bedroom is on and on and on attention to detail everywhere. One of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in.
Beautiful house!! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!Super clean and secluded in a quiet area. Wonderful place to just relax but it’s also within a reasonable driving distance to several attractions. TV and wifi are not the best but not a huge enough issue for us to not want to return in the future.
Wonderful, clean, comfortable! The home had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the property! The owner is very nice , he gave us recommendations for groceries, restaurants, ect. The description of the home is very accurate- it is evident the home was updated and has been cared for.
This property was absolutely amazing. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We felt completely at home there and would definitely stay again. The house was very modern and functional. There was more than enough room for four adults and two kids. It was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. I can not say enough good things about this property. Bill was great to work with and very helpful.
Beautifully renovated home that still kept its older charm. Comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed our week there. Lots of things to do or see in the area. This home was exactly what we were hoping for. Outdoor deck with comfortable seating and a gas firepit was the perfect spot to watch the fireflies at night. And enough room for our family to spread out after a day of exploring.
The house was in immaculate order. The interior is tastefully decorated - I felt like I was in a 5 Star hotel but better. The host, Michael, was always responsive and kind. They had essential items for the guest including snacks in case we did not get to the grocery store. It was a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it.
Beautiful house and just the right size for the six of us. Enjoyed the fire pit on the deck and quietness of the evening. One issue was fixed same day and responses from Bill were fast and very thorough!
Everything was absolutely perfect. Beautiful home. Two things just to note: Very curvy road to get there. Easy to navigate during day but would hesitate to arrive when dark. Neighbors have two dogs that kept running over onto property. If you have a dog that isn’t dog friendly with you could be an issue. Would definitely stay here again.
10 out of 10 for this place! If you are looking for a quiet off the beaten path place to stay during your bourbon adventure, look no further! We were about 20 mins away from Bardstown, an hour away from mammoth caves and Louisville. So to us it was a perfect central location to all of the things we wanted to do. The back deck with the fire place was where we spent the majority of our time at night, but the front porch for morning coffee was heavenly. The host was very responsive of we had questions from check in to check out. We will definitely be back!
Beautifully restored and decorated, this comfortable and well appointed cabin was perfect for our long weekend away with friends. It was a lovely drive through the rolling KY foothills to get to our areas of interest. The home was fresh, clean and relaxing. Bill (our host) was communicative and kind enough to leave us a few treats. The back deck with gas fire pit was wonderful, we only wished that the weather was a little warmer so that we could have fully enjoyed it, but that will have to wait until next time (we'll be back!). We did have a few little hiccups, but nothing that would deter us from returning and giving our stay 5 stars. Thank you, Bill for being a kind host and opening your beautiful home to us for a wonderful stay!
