We had a wonderful stay to accommodate a large multi family gathering. The owner was very accommodating to our requests and needs which we greatly appreciated. It made our stay comfortable and enjoyable during our time of sorrow

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Great location with easy access to storybook land and a huge yard to run and play in. Michelle was quick to respond when we had questions or needed something. The house was lovely!

Amazing home and view

We attended a family reunion nearby in Wylie Park/Storybook Land. The home was very convenient, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the owner provided thoughtful amenities, like salt and pepper and laundry pods. Every morning we saw wildlife right outside the patio and our bedroom window. We wish we needed to return to Aberdeen again so we could stay there again!!

Amazing stay!

A group of 8 friends stayed here and we had a lovely time. The property is absolutely gorgeous; nothing beats coffee out on the back deck in the morning! It was incredibly clean, well-stocked, and decorated like an actual vacation home vs. feeling like we were intruding on someone’s home. Michelle was a really responsive host. A small suggestion: stock more paper towels and/or kitchen towels. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and the dish towels were really damp after the first night. It was so small of an issue, but towels are helpful to keep the property clean!

Overall great place and worked awesome. We ran out of a propane tank and host communicated to us where extra ones were located. I would recommend getting a fridge/freezer for inside the garage, as we brought a bunch of coolers but would have been nice to have an extra fridge/freezer.

There was an issue with climate control. We had 7 adults and 3 children so we utilized all of the bedrooms. Unfortunately there is only one climate control for the whole house which is on the main floor. With the climate control set for the main floor the basement rooms and bathroom were cold and we were very uncomfortable. Basically if the AC is on, the basement will be in the upper 60's at best. I would suggest space heaters in the basement for future rentals even if the outdoor temperatures are high. Also, the house needs to have the AC on early in the day for check-ins. We arrived and it was turned off and it took several hours for the upstairs to cool down below 80 degrees. On another note, the water presser in the showers is very low.The location is absolutely beautiful and we loved the space. Michelle was very communicative except on check-in day when we were trying to figure out how to cool the house down. Unfortunately, there was a lengthy delay that one time. Other than that she was very quick to respond. We would definitely rent this property again but would need to address the temperature situation.

Hello, Thank you for your review. I apologize for the climate control issue. Normally our cleaners leave the a/c set to 75 degrees to avoid this. Not sure how it got missed. We will be more vigilant in the future. I also apologize for the delay in the communication. You had contacted me late on a Friday night, and I responded in under two hours. This property is amazing! The views off the deck were tranquil and exceptional - loved the creek that runs by. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property. The host Michelle is responsive and simply the best!!

Had loads of room for us during the day so we could hang out and chat. There were not quite as many rooms as we were expecting but there were enough beds for our whole group. Michelle was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
