The property is well cared for and had everything we needed. Our pup loved the screened in porch. We loved the location and it seemed like everything we wanted to visit was within a half hour from there. If we decided to visit KY again this would be our top pick to stay.

What an absolute gem! The house was beautifully decorated with tasteful touches....the bourbon cart! Very clean with a fully stocked kitchen. The hosts were very communicative before and during our stay. Would definitely consider this property again during my son's 4 years at UK.

We travel to the Lexington area every year for the fall meet and we have stayed at several VRBOs. This is one we will definitely return to. The property is better than described. They have thought of everything. The inside is clean, updated, and the beds are great. Outside is peaceful and what better view than horses out your front door. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The home is easily accessible with a secured entrance. Extremely private with horses grazing in the pastures next to the house. Pet friendly and the owners are quick to respond to any issues that you may have. We will use them again if we are in the area.

For anyone looking to escape the noise and light pollution of city dwelling, this is the place to go. The cottage is delightful with every convenience imaginable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, the appliances were upper-scale, everything was well cared for and clean, and the surroundings unimaginably delightful. From the rooster crowing in the distance in the morning to the shadows of the horses grazing at night, our stay could not have been more perfect! Thanks to our hosts. Oct 2026.

Great Experience. Peaceful and quiet setting among nature and the horses with an occasional visit from a sweet cat :-) . Especially enjoyed by our dogs who had not experienced horses in the past.Looking forward to another visit.

Our stay was everything we were looking for when planning a trip for our one year wedding anniversary. My wife enjoyed being able to sit out on the porch with coffee every morning and then being able to stroll only about 100 feet to visit with several of the horses. The location is close enough to visit Georgetown, Lexington and Frankfort with an enjoyable scenic drive through horse country. At the end of the day is was nice to be able to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country side. The house was clean and well furnished with everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay and spending time in greater Lexington area. We will definitely be back.
