2 bedroom condo, seating for only 3 in living room. Picture showed 2 wing chairs—they were gone. Furniture is broken down with permanent “butt prints”. Impossible to get up from couch without help. One dish towel, one kitchen washcloth in entire kitchen—we stayed 5 nights, not enough! Condo was clean, and screened in porch was lovely.
We were looking a place that wasn’t too close to downtown Branson, but not too far away. Loved being able to sit in the screened in porch and see the lake. Accommodations were as listed. Very roomy bedrooms. First level condo. Plenty of parking. Only reason for the 4 overall is due to the carpet being worn / dirty in the first bedroom.
My family recently stayed at this unit in Pointe Royale and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The unit was impeccably clean and stocked with thoughtful extras like salt, pepper, and cooking oil, which saved me from having to buy them. The beds were some of the best I’ve ever slept on while traveling, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.
However, the stay was marred by noisy upstairs neighbors who were night owls, resulting in restless nights. I learned from a resident that the sound issues stemmed from the building’s construction and hard flooring. While this was aggravating and unfortunate, it was the only significant downside to our trip.
The fall scenery was stunning! We enjoyed the nearby trail and fishing from the shoreline behind the unit. My 15 year old caught a 24 inch rainbow trout making for some unforgettable memories! ***Make sure you read the regulations for Lake Taneycomo before you fish though. They are extremely particular for good reason in this area.
Despite the noise issue, we loved our time at Pointe Royale and plan to return—hopefully, we can secure a top-level unit next time for a quieter experience.
My family and I really enjoyed this peaceful property. The location on the river was beautiful and it was very convenient to Branson's attractions. I would stay here again and I recommend this property to friends!
It was a beautiful condo with a great view of the river. Check in was easy and on time. The only negative was toilets were not handicap or even tall and there was no walk in shower. My husband had a broken leg and it made it hard for him to take a shower and use the bathroom. Otherwise it was easy access from the car and the beds were very comfy.
We made a quick trip to visit my son and needed a good place to relax. The riverside location with screened porch, 1.1 mile river hiking trail, pickleball courts, exercise center, and proximity to longer lake walking path were perfect for us. Comms with property manager were easy and with quick responses. Looking forward to return visits!
Took a last minute trip December 28-January 1. Needed a first level due to adult child with disabilities, this condo was perfect. Very clean, well furnished, well equipped and lots of space. Loved the view. Would definitely return and have actually sent the link to a couple friends who inquired. Thanks for allowing us to stay, we had a fantastic time.
Property as described and great, quiet location with Lake Taneycomo out the back. Walk in level perfect for families with older adults or small kids to avoid stairs. Will stay again!
The location was beautiful and the condo itself was perfect for our mother/daughter trip. The wood floors in the upstairs neighbor's condo made them a little loud, but our condo owners provided sound machines and fans in both bedrooms, so it wasn't a problem. The fireplace was great for the cooler evenings and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location couldn't have been better as the views from the riverbank were gorgeous and it was away from the busyness of the main strip but there were plenty of backroads to route us around traffic to easily get us to the shows we wanted, even on a very crowded fall weekend.
Pros: VERY CLEAN!, good location, good (& clean) coffee maker, comfortable furniture and beds.
Cons: No ceiling fans on deck or in bedrooms. Kitchen was poorly lit; hard to see. Microwave does not have turntable. Kitchen could have used some attention – no steak knives (we had to go buy some), no beer glasses, very few coffee mugs. Grill could have used a good cleaning.
Great place, great location, very good value, and we were all very pleased with the whole stay. A night swim in the pool and hot tub was a nice bonus.
I appreciate the listing as wheelchair accessible. It is very welcome but rare to find a place that provides reasonable access and has enough room to stay with friends. That said I would like to add a few details for others with disabilities who are considering staying here.
Overall it should work for people who can manage with what we used to call barrier free but it is not fully accessible. The front sidewalk is a bit uneven and there is a couple inch bump at the entrance. All doors are wide (do not have dimensions) and I was able to freely move through the whole place. The kitchen is narrow but there is space at the end to turn around.
The master bath has plenty of room but there is a privacy wall by the toilet that makes getting close for transfers tough. The second bathroom is a straight shot in/out with not much room to turn around. There is more room to transfer to the toilet but nothing to hold onto. A couple of grab bars in each would make a huge difference. The master has a big tub with room to transfer and the other is a standard tub that requires a straight on transfer. Again useable, but grab bars would help a lot. Can't pull under the sinks but basically usable.
Consider your own abilities but it worked fine for me; a manual chair user with good upper body strength.
We are leaving now. We bought you a new Mr Coffee maker. The one you had takes 2 1/2 hours to make a pot of coffee. I also, put the towels in the washing machine. Sorry, we didn’t have time to dry them.
Not to be snotty but the bathroom with the jacuzzi tub really should have some safety hand rails. We enjoyed staying in the condo, it was lovely.
